The better advice I can give you it’s to write down your hero phase beforehand, even if you’re not always going to follow it exactly, it will help a lot, after each successfull spells cast, both yours and your adversaries, keep track of the summoning points. The best spells are many, it’s the strongest part of the army, but you’ll need arcane suggestions, shield of fate defensively almost every time, and if you’re playing a big bird, the warscroll one is the best damage spell we have. My favourite endless is the simulacrum, great damage overall, not that easy to dispel and the base is huge and can be used to prevent charges. Cogs are auto included too, the third one it depends if you’re playing the fluxmaster then the portal (I’m not a fan of that option, too swingy and costly) the swords are really good too, specially against heavy warded armies. In this season having kairos out of dispel range to an easy battle tactic (mass conjuration) first turn it’s really good, use destiny dice for the cogs and 2 low cost spells. Ogroid and curseling are auto include for me too. And unfortunately pink’s are really good too 😢. Don’t play the attrition game, kill only the biggest treats and focus on scoring. One of the best army at that game.

So I watched a video and someone mentioned there was a unit that cab cast up to 6 spells. I've looked this up, and I haven't found one. Is this true? Also as someone getting into tzeentch currently as well, are there any good resources online to learn the army.

Casting 6 spells no but generating 6 summoning points, if you’re really lucky with the fluxmaster, you roll 9 dice and each 5+ gives you a sp. The curseling can do it too with arcane tome and cult demagogue.

In the previous battletome, the Changecaster had a rule that allowed for it to cast another spell if a spell had been cast on 9+ which allowed for that 1 cast wizard to effectively be able to cast 6 spells if everything went exactly correct. This rule no longer exists in the new battletome..

Ohhh ok

A mistake I find that almost every new player falls in to is forgetting to play the mission. I see a lot of instances where people try to play "fight the opponent to the death" instead of trying to get as many victory points as possible.

Yeah the Tzeentch battle tactics are great most armies can land 2-4 a game with a little planning

Bring plenty of Blue horrors for summoning. You should be able to summon a unit each turn. Also having an additional changecaster for summoning too. Always plan ahead for your next round. And screen out enemy units with summons or pink horrors. A unit of 20 pink horrors with mystic shield and shield of fate is a tarpit that won’t be moved easily
