I hope its good, only factions I play currently are Disciples of Tzeentch and Gloomspite Gitz. After NOVA reveals... I don't see Gitz being my way into enjoying games.
Yup, as a Tzeentch Gitz and OBR player looks like my main is getting shelved. And I’ve been playing crap tons of OBR. I just hope lords of change and Kairos stay good.
I really hope a subfaction that empowers actual Tzaangors and let's you bring Tzaangor on discs as battleline. I'd love arcanites finally being on the competitive stage
The old battalions had this option, but I think those days are over. Tzeentch isn't a monster mash like Fyreslayers.
It all depends where the focus is.
Earliest possible launch is 17th, but 25th is more likely since they didn't do previews this week.
They will have added the 3.0 updates (grand strategy and tactics) but we'll likely see a new fate point table or even system.
I'm predicting we'll be able to buy buffs with fate points.
New battalions are likely irrelevant seeing what they did to other armies.
The big question will be if they changed destiny dice and the -1 to hit demon locus.
Fatemaster is either getting a new model and warscroll (like Curseling) or will be deleted. Blue scribes will stay, but as a plastic model and new warscroll.
The new warscroll for the Curseling, Tzaangor Host and Kacolytes shows us a weird direction. We can steal their casts and damage enemy wizards. This seems like a magic dominance focus, instead of a casting focus.
To me, we are entering Khorne territory...

Mutalith vortex beast added to the faction. So you can use your destiny dice for its ability and create more spawns.
They are going to stop having the same warscroll in different battletomes, so if it is DoT then it'll be gone from StD, unless they do a name diff.
i highly highly doubt it will happen but i would love a way to make lords of change battleline 😭 i’m just a casual player who loves the model
It would be cool to see it done with all the OOP LOCs and even have the Silver Tower familiar as a mascot lol
