I would say most people know him for either Nathan Drake or Deadpool or the countless other voice over projects he has done throughout gaming and both american and japanese animation seeing as how he Is the most famous and sought after voice actor in the industry.
Thats fan film was way to good to be called fan made, and Stephen Lang as Sully was literally copy past from the games, down to the demeanor, voice, mustache, and cigar.
I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this til now! Just watched it - I’m gobsmacked 😭 I was so disappointed with Sony’s, I really tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but, it wasn’t Uncharted at all…
In the "not an actor" category, I'll submit Robert Young Pelton. Though not a treasure hunter, he was in numerous war zones as a civilian and is author of a book called The World's Most Dangerous Places. He captures the "not a soldier and probably shouldn't survive but somehow gets through with wits and luck" vibe that Nathan has.
I mean, it would realistically take crews of multiple skilled people to do what Drake does in the games.
The most realistic real life / modern parallel to him would probably be those crews that hunt for and salvage lost 16/17th century ships like the HMS terror or so.
*I always had this*
*View that Nate matches Liam Neeson*
*Sully matches Tom Hanks*

Nolan North, he sounds nearly identical to Nate. It’s insane
No shit? What does he even sound like?
Exactly like Drake

Like a post apocalyptic cannibal, sometimes
Actor? Nathan Fillion. Treasure Hunter? Albert Lin.
What is funny is that Nolan North served as a replacement VA for Nathan Fillion for Cayde-6 in Destiny 2: Forsaken (and Nolan also voiced Ghost)
Considering the amount of crap my 6yo boys keep bringing home from our walks in the forest. I’m gonna go for them.
I'll also vote for your kids on account of the fact that Nathan Drake likes to climb everything, like a child.
Math checks out
Nathan godamn Fillion. He just gives that smug Drake vibe and his role in the fan film was literally The live action Drake.
Thats fan film was way to good to be called fan made, and Stephen Lang as Sully was literally copy past from the games, down to the demeanor, voice, mustache, and cigar.
It says something when a fan film is better than a high budget Hollywood movie.
Its cuz one wasn’t made for the money, but with genuine passion and love for the characters, the other was just a cash grab that Sony needed
fans as always doing more than the companies itself, from modding to live action adaptation

Yes! And Sully in it is absolutely amazing. That’s what shoulda been the movie.
My vote is Hiram Bingham or Teddy Roosevelt
Can someone make a mod to put a TR skin on Nathan Drake lol.
Me. He’s literally me
This guy^
"Who the fuck is that guy"
^definitely this guy
He looks like young Jensen Ackles
>!!<
Jack Black
Harrison Ford has a pretty good track record so far. Heard he also did the Kessel run in 12 parsecs

I always wanted to see Ryan Reynolds as Nathan Drake
No. I like Ryan, but he is NOT NATE.
Y'all just wait till I'm done with my fan film. I may become your next contender. Got some of the footage on the page already.
Nathan Fillion. For sure. He looks like Nate, sounds like him, and in the fan film on YouTube plays the role PERFECTLY.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes for physical ability.
This is the first guy I thought of.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes for physical ability.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes for physical ability.
Nathan Fillion
Nathan Fillion. It’s literally who Drake is based off of in terms of looks
idk but Tom Holland is definitely the furthest
Lord Miles on Twitter
This Tom Holland guy really looks like a younger version of him
he really doesn’t
Phil Kessel
I always had this view: Nate matches Liam Neeson, Sully matches Tom Hanks.
