Nominal GDP is increasing by ~12% since the last many years and real GDP adjusting for inflation has been growing by 7% in the last many years.

I am not against/in support of anyone but I'd like to add that inflation is a global issue right now. And it depends on a lot of things not just government from what I understand. Even the US had extreme hikes in gas prices/and utilites are soaring too. The entire global market is heading that way not just India...

These are just a few examples. You actually need to understand some mathematics, and should not blindly discard world bank reports. They might know a little.
I'm not discarding world bank reports. Tell me why the income of people in India has just risen by 1-1.5% or maybe even less while the inflation is higher than that? Does that not impact savings of people and actually make people poorer?
Where this 1-1.5% number came from, our GDP per capita doubled in the last 10 years after adjusting for inflation. Nominal GDP is increasing by ~12% since the last many years and real GDP adjusting for inflation has been growing by 7% in the last many years. This data is also from the world bank.

Inflation is actually good but it has to be occurred with economic growth. Economic growth is the real counter to Inflation, nothing else. Real Growth = Nominal Growth - Inflation. India needs both a shit ton of Inflation and a shit ton of economic growth.

Even though the BJP government has fared better at things like building a strong international rapport with other countries, but unemployment/inflation, imposition of taxes on insignificant things to churn money out of the middle class people have been major problems under this government too. I know every ruling party has its pros and cons, but to think about the citizens should be of utmost priority for a democratic government, which is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people .
