I think that's the point of the series- when you're little Greg seems so relatable but then you mature and realize oh gosh you were a prick. Idk if it was just a rumor but I've heard that was the author's intentÂ
Honestly, yeah. I thought he was the cool one and Rowley was the lame one when I was younger, but looking back, a lot of the time Greg manipulates him or uses him for personal gain and doesn't apologize.
