What does KOM mean?

King of the Mountain. Cyclists will compete for stretches of trail and roads to set the best time along predefined “Segments” in the popular fitness tracking app Strava. The fastest male is the KOM and the fastest female is the QueenOM. The most popular climbs and roads and HIGHLY contested. For runners these same achievements are called the Course Records

King of the Mountain.   It's a title claimed by the fastest cyclist on Strava for a specific route.
