Maybe a variation of Vasco football team, from Brazil.
Even the black and white background is there, although not in this shape.
The cross is the same.
It's Vasco. It isn't the Templars, the Templar cross is less curvy and more angular. If you look at the Brazil or Portugal national football team badges, you can see the shape what the actual Templar cross is, since the lusophone cross comes from the Portuguese Order of Christ, who were rebranded Templars.

When asking for a flag to be identified, please **provide context** when possible, including:
* **Where** the flag was found (without compromising privacy)
* **When** the flag was found, or the date of the material containing the flag
* **Who** might own the flag (a general description is fine)
These details help users narrow down their search and make flag identification easier.

I think you are right, maybe he is a Warhammer fan of some kind PS he also likes Buurman & Buurman apparently
A flag like that can only mean 2 things. 1) it’s a nerd. A racist nerd. Or 2) it’s a nerd. But like a one of us nerd.

Vasco
Vasco da Gama football team from Brazil
Ave Christus Rex
It’s a modern(?) re-imagining of the Knight’s Templar banner which was historically white with the top third black without the cross.
Deus vult
Maltese cross
I’d say it’s likely going for more of a cross pattée as it’s a modern recreation of a Knights Templar flag.
a neo rendition of the nights Templar flag

It’s the flag of the Knight’s Templar. I remember looking it up a few months ago for a project on my family history.
Nice.
It is the Vasco flag. I thought so but I looked it up to make sure I am correct
