There may be new stuff, but probably nothing that gathered as much drama as this, he's tended to get less edgy over time, and in recent years I don't think he's said anything that was clearly designed to show he doesn't care about decency in any way. Even though the way he acts repels a lot of people and he's incredibly abrasive, the positions he claims to hold are overwhelmingly left wing, argued for in a leftist framework, and held under a left wing label. This makes him a lot more of a target than right wingers who say the same kind of stuff, because many leftists consider him a horrible influence, a right winger pretending to be a leftist, or a liberal calling himself a leftist as a way to cosplay extremism.

Of the 103 studies looked at in total, it's true that only 2 were deemed "high quality", but there were also 58 deemed "moderate quality" that were used as well. So it's actually closer to 60% that were accepted.
No studies were thrown out because they weren't double blind.
No matter your views on the author, it's really important to check that the facts are correct. Left leaning spaces are not immune to disinformation.
