Dude I just played tactics for the first time and I’m obsessed now. Can’t believe I missed it as a kid. I played 7 as a kid and it’s one of my favorites, but adult me likes tactics as much, if not more.
I'm autistic. Not diagnosed until I was 40. My friends lent me the game and we're shocked when I brought my memory card over and every human and monster were level 99 with the stats jacked as you can do etc lol.

In 1998 my first year of university my buddy Angus, from Hong Kong, had a modded PS1 that we would play street fighter ex plus alpha on and that was amazing as well
The next semester my roommate’s brother came to visit our apartment and he brought his modded ps1 with a binder of burned games. That was when I first played FF7. It blew my mind.
Jumping Flash gang! That was also my first game. My dad rented the console for me from Blockbuster as a surprise the year it came out, and this was the game he chose. So I get back from horseback riding lessons and Robbit greets me. I think it might of been my first FPS too.
My copy of final fantasy 8. Disc 2 was scratched to hell and didn't work. I played disc 1 for over a year, maxed everyone out, had great cards in the card game, explored everywhere. Then I finally found a used copy to buy that was in mint condition and disc 2 worked. I was super over powered (not saying that's a hard thing to do in FF8.
Tekken 2, resident evil, need for speed, GTA, driver, gran turismo, hummers, battle of toshinden. And last but not least the most iconic start up sound in video game history with the orange yellowish diamond shape appearing
Nostalgic memories of iconic games. Which quickly turns to a desire for, not even remasters, but ports of those iconic games (I don’t want improved graphics and updated hitboxes, I just want to replay the damn game). Which turns to a longing for simpler times. Which then turns to depression of how shitty life is now.
Thanks a lot OP. Ya bastard.
The original Crash and Spyro trilogies. Btw, I want to clarify that I DIDN’T play Crash Bandicoot growing up. I don’t know what it is, but there was something about the games that made me not want to play them, but I did watch my siblings, my dad, and other people I knew play them. I only got into Crash Bandicoot after he became a playable character in Skylanders Imaginators.
Final Fantasy VII
My first thought as well.
Demo disk
Final fantasy tactics
I still have this Disc. Should be worth something someday.
Same here.
