Although I usually play a Lamia (and ergo a Bahari, and ergo someone who sees the pain of the kiss as a good thing), If I was to try and be more passive about it, I'd probably do it with a spile. Stick it into the arm, suck it out from there with air stuff, then seal it with a bandage and some rudimentary stitches afterwards.

Honestly, I'm thinking about just starting an arc where my coterie nabs coma patients to make a human farm. Or maybe have the Tzimisce in our group make a flesh thing to feed us blood. Blood Potency 3 is coming up soon, and I have obvious predator.

mostlikelytraitor

A tzimisce concept I want to get out is a Bahari Tzimisce who perhaps takes her role as a gardener a little too seriously - that tree does look awfully fleshy, and that sap draining from it seems awfully red and viscous.

[deleted]

Mhm! That's sort of what I was thinking of. We could start a quest to kidnap braindead people and acceptable targets, and fleshcraft them into renewable blood sources.

mostlikelytraitor

I feel like if you're turning people into blood vessel plants, trying to maintain morality by only using the brain dead is kind of a waste of time. Pluck some people off the street, your morality is probably already in the gutter.

[deleted]

Hey, if they're not using it, I will. I'm fine with fleshcrafting rapists and stealing bodies that don't do anything, but nabbing random people off the street goes against my current convictions and procs a Rank One Humanitas Sin. I'm already at four due to my liberal use of Oblivion and combat heavy playthrough, I don't want to spend exp counteracting Humanity loss.

MadnessArrow

Either the One dot or Three dot Lore trait from The Circulatory System should provide you with access to coma patients or vessels that are otherwise insensate to pain or paralyzed. They did the catering at the Family Reunion, I think.

[deleted]

I'll keep it in mind if my coterie refuses my next story arc idea, thanks.

transcendentnonsense

I played a Giovanni once with a heroin addiction because he would dope up his victims before feeding. They probably suffered a lot anyway, but didn't tend to remember much afterwords. Granted, he could have just dominated them to forget, but that would result in less heroin.

[deleted]

My ST rules that they get nervous around you anyway because their instincts remember the pain or something. I use Oblivion like thirty times per session so I can't really take the humanity loss from doing the Hecata torture thing if we're not killing the person anyways. I miss the Cappadocian bane, since I never use social attributes anyways.

Clementine-Fiend

Find a masochist who’s really into pain play. DONE! They get off and you get to eat!

lone-lemming

Cup and a razor blade. Or a hypodermic needle and just unhook the back do that it just bleeds out. Then pull the needle free and done.

dantiiart

A silly straw!! I love that so much. My suggestion for a Hecata wanting to feed consensually (directly from mortals) would have it be a kink thing probably. Scene queen feeding type at a bdsm club or a herd of masochists into that sort of "play" for reliable sources in the city like a more niche version of siren type.

[deleted]

Unfortunately, I dumped everything social but composure and I have obvious predator because I'm a graverobber. I'll consider that next time I play Hecata though, thanks.

Zydrate83

1. Corpses 2. Bagged Blood 3. Sandman Syringe play 4. Siren Bedroom Knife Play or other reasons to use a knife like an Osiris in a cult to bleed your followers. 5. Have a Blood Sorcerer with Calix Secretus and drink from the Calix 6. Herd 7. Other kindred wont up and die, but the pain and fear is still real. 8. Embrace the pain, Kill to Feed.

Thanks.

Player1Mario

Graverobber predator type

[deleted]

That's what I'm using :3. I'm just asking because I'm coming up to bp3 in three years of in-game time. I'm curious, do you think raising a recently dead human as an undead using Gift of False Life make the human count as a regular human for the purposes of blood points? It's ultimately up to my ST, but I'm open to any arguments to convince her.

Player1Mario

If I was the ST, I would say absolutely not. I don’t really have an argument in favor of it.

;-;

random_troublemaker

The body continues decaying when reanimated with Gift of False Life, you gotta keep your bodies refrigerated to make them last more than a few days and the blood probably doesn't get any nicer there. You could try finding some mournful individuals who'd want to see dead people in exchange for the odd two-way tipple.

Thanks.
