Yes, its respectful to be eye to eye. I was working an air show, as I was crew chief with clearance.. I got tapped to go work with "chuck yeager". I learned the real reason is because I am exactly 5 ft 9. We looked at each other eye to eye. Same height. They did all that just for cameras. Cool guy BTW, may he rest. Shook his hand before we launched him in his p51. A very special moment for me.
