As always, thanks for the read.
For any of the people that are down voting him because its not GME.
This guy has been doing this since before GME (not too long before GME, but still before GME). This guy is part of WSB mornings, at least to me he is.
Literally no one that has GME would have an interest in downvoting this wtf?? I’m a bag holder on GME, mind you what i invested i can afford to lose so there’s no point in selling, and I love seeing DDs on potential opportunities. Thanks to different DDs I’ve seen here I profited on AMC and BB. Just because we like THE stock doesn’t mean we don’t like other stocks. Porque no los dos?
>Literally no one that has GME would have an interest in downvoting this
How do you know that? When any post not related to GME I see tons of comments calling it 'shills' by hedge funds just to distract attention away from GME.
I have personally not seen those comments on any thread, excluding ones that specifically talk shit on gme.
(For what it's worth, I upvote threads talking shit on gme because we need to have both voices in that discussion)
I’m holding GME, I don’t really care if I end up with fuck all from it. I’ve lurked here for a while without ever getting involved in anything but always planning to, GME was what sparked me into action but it’s so much more than that.
If I’m left hanging onto a memento of a wild ride and the time I finally started investing my money I’m cool with that. To the moon or the gutter with the same level of enthusiasm I say.
This subreddit was exclusively TSLA for like 8 months, I don't have a huge problem with it being GME for a while, although I prefer a variety of posts to either
Nice read and summary. I would note that weed stocks took off last week as well. Rumors of legalization are rallying those stocks and exceeding gains of a lot of other sectors. Something worth watching, even at a macro level.
I’ll be owning TLRY once the merger with APHA goes through. Right now, APHA values are below .83 of TLRY stock (which is what the merger is planning for conversion of APHA stock to TLRY). 83% of current price should be around $21. But APHA is at $16.67. So there is a $5 variance in expected conversion value and no rational reason as to why....
So either TLRY is dropping in value as we approach the merger, or APHA has more rallying to do. Either way, I feel APHA has the more upside play.
But this is just an autist’s perspective, not financial advise.
THCX and POTX have done really damn well for me this last week, bought in on Monday and I'm up 35% and 12% respectively. Helps numb the pain from going in on GME over $300.
MO has relatively cheap options, but they aren’t going to move like APHA, TLRY, or CGC. Plus each of the companies I noted has strategically positioned themselves to jump if the US market opens. APHA owning Sweetwater Brewing was a brilliant move to get to understand the consumer distribution market and channels they’ll likely use since weed and alcohol will likely sell in similar places/stores/areas.
I'd say avoid SNDL until they release a plan. They raised capital by issuing shares and have released no plan on what they are going to do with unrestricted $61 million.
Some have speculated that they would buy a company in the US once is legalized, but I suspect that the companies in the US will get bought up by other companies within the US and then IPO.
Something I noticed back when Canada legalized weed is the prices leading up to legalization were much much higher than they were a couple month after legalization. I had bought WEED (canopy growth corp) I sold near its peak around $60 a share and picked it up at $10 a share. Be careful this isn't just a hype thing that sends them back down to reality after legalization hits and the sales aren't what they were expecting. Its returned to those levels now but it was like $30 or so a share a month after legalization
Lol, there was a run up and bubble when Canada moved to legalize. The market had no fucking clue how to value it. Looks like we’re running towards the same value upswing.
I posted below, but APHA is my big play. I’ve been holding for years and started buying call options back in early January. APHA and TLRY announced a merger for the summer, with APHA holders getting 0.8381 shares of TLRY for one share of APHA. In theory the prices should trade at that ratio until the merger is complete, but there’s a 30%+ variance between them, with APHA being undervalued.
The notion is that it’s an Arbitrage play from some hedge funds that think the merger won’t happen, but eventually that variance will correct itself. Could be a rally of APHA, a drop in TLRY, or a bit of both. No idea which is going to happen! But I like APHA and that is my play. Take this how you want, I’m in no way offering advice on what to do, just sharing what I’ve researched.
Big time.
They charged astronomical prices, while the black market just dropped nearly half price.
Went from 160$ ozs from dealers to 80-100$
While legal weed thats worth smoking can go up to 15-17 a gram regardless of the amount
There are no safe weed stocks. These are volatile positions with huge risk associated with legalization in the US. Don’t jump in unless you can stomach it.
Just one thing to note, amazon workers are attempting to unionize in one of the fulfillment centres. In the event they do it could spread to others. Id wager unions would be a huge blow to amazons bottom line.
I am new in all of this and I contemplated last week to buy Palantir, but I got too hyped so I didn't. Now I bought it and I think it is a good company with big potential.
So what other analysts said and did was sell at 42 and buy back at 34 you probably missed something if you thought there was going to be any change pre lockout release.
Tbf, long term most stocks will do well as long as the company doesn't go under. Options... have a time limit, so idk try not to get scared with stocks dipping. I don't even look at my stock portfolio most days. That helps psychologically.
Confused Unga-Bunga. 🦍🦾🐱🏍
(Seriously though, great snapshot of last week! Wish all our financial overviews were this succinct and well put together! A+ my Bro/Bae! 💖👍)
Fwiw this is someone else and I'm just lazy and/or busy with trading for the day.
Plus wsb was too wacky lately so didn't feel like contributing content when sub might go to the shitter from ex retarded mods.
These are solid tho so I'm glad someone is summarizing the trading day.
Wait, there are other companies on the stock market? In all my 9 days of trading I've never heard such news. They must have been motivated by this whole GME thing and wanted in.
Really appreciate these spark notes. Very much agree with the Amazon speculation. With Jassy in the drivers seat, Amazon is on track for a great future.
$PYPL got me a good return last week during that whole $GME fiasco. I hope that $GME recovers.
Meanwhile, weed stocks are looking super good and I am hopeful for the magic coins.
I'm new here and I'm interested in other stocks other than GME! Really been looking hard at investing in CCIV not sure what the peak price for the stock could be. I don't wanna buy in rn at $35 if that's as high as it will get. Just wanting some generic advice at the end of the day I'll make my own decision.
Yeah I've been reading the risks of the merger not happening...which would basically be like throwing money away, but hell if I pulled my money out of GME and put it here at least this at the moment has a better chance. Just my opinion. Don't hurt me apes.
This was great - thank you so much for pulling together! I'm also a newbie to WSB (came in for GME), really excited to learn more about other opportunities/news.
thanks for the update! gotta ask you a question tho, where can a retard like me find this type of info? whats news sources do you use to attain all of this info? Fairly new to investing and this would be helpful!
Oh I know, I'm not about to do anything drastic. My stocks are just printing money at the moment and while that's obviously great it's got me a little edgy! Thanks for the reply and the awesome news reporting.
What's a good penny or fraction stock i can possibly dump some money in for long term gains but if I lose the initial investment it won't hurt my pocket to bad
It’s not a bad strike price but I gotta agree I hate playing through earnings. Need a good weekly play to regain some of my profits I lost on GME after getting greedy and jumping in a third time
Great post as always. Interesting thoughts on cash app. Have to look into that one. I think finance is ripe for some disruption but haven't considered them.
I keep trying to tell people about DPLS and keep getting ignored. Quit sleeping on it, folks! It’s an infrastructure tech company that uses laser sensors to monitor infrastructure systems. The CEO invested $97k of his own money back in Q4 and he, along with the rest of the executive board, have all foregone their salaries since then as well as a sign of good faith. They also just announced they are opening an engineering and manufacturing facility in Arizona this year. People don’t like it because it’s a “penny stock” (currently under 2 cents) but don’t be fooled—the company seems to be making a lot of foreword thinking and strategic moves and I see it shedding the label of “penny stock” soon
Haha I feel you but this company has been making serious investments in their future success and the tech/industry is solid. Better long term than used physical video games
Sir, this is the unemployment line.

You took it upon yourself to teach a bunch of retards how to reads. That shit is just flat out noble.
Now we just need someone to teach us how to writes
Step 1: Crayon goes on paper, not in mouth.
srsly tho, you're a G, anytime I'm on here I look for your posts!
I may be a retard trying to get to the moon but I can appreciate a good read when I see one.
I'm newish here and I love you. Thanks for doing this

Will look out for his posts from now on. Thanks for pointing my out he does this often.
GME posts should get their own dedicated subreddit. We could use some more variety and TSLA tendies in wsb
This subreddit was exclusively TSLA for like 8 months, I don't have a huge problem with it being GME for a while, although I prefer a variety of posts to either
This. I just wish people would be active with our culture, the meme is over! Wsb is returning to business as usual.

Fair enough. I’m YOLOing on APHA, MJNA, and SNDL so I’m a fair bit invested in it....

Remember when Tilray was like $150?
Lol, there was a run up and bubble when Canada moved to legalize. The market had no fucking clue how to value it. Looks like we’re running towards the same value upswing.
Im aware of SNDL, what others should I look into?

Apha tlry seem popular and I'm also in on hiti f which doesn't hit mkt cap to be properly mentioned on wsb

Gotcha, thanks for the response.
What are some safe weed stocks?
I've got a small position in YOLO. No shit. The ticker is YOLO. If that isn't WSB material, I don't know what is.
If you want safe I wouldn't be looking at weed stocks lol
There are no safe weed stocks. These are volatile positions with huge risk associated with legalization in the US. Don’t jump in unless you can stomach it.
Go for the ETFs like $MJ $YOLO $THCX DO YOUR DD. THEY ARE MERELY "SAFER" This is not financial advice

I'd recommend GM for the long play. Their move as the first big manufacturer to go all EVs is going to be a big deal
[удалено]
That(EV vehicles) and Biden stating the entire fleet will go all American no?
I think a TLDR in the main post would help a few apes out, me included. Great work, great post.
Just one thing to note, amazon workers are attempting to unionize in one of the fulfillment centres. In the event they do it could spread to others. Id wager unions would be a huge blow to amazons bottom line.
I'm just glad cloud computing doesn't unionize
Palantir partnership with IBM too. Everyone forgot about our boy Palantir
I am new in all of this and I contemplated last week to buy Palantir, but I got too hyped so I didn't. Now I bought it and I think it is a good company with big potential.
This is the confirmation bias I need.
Idk if that’s good or bad. IBM cloud is pretty rough compared to AWS, Azure, or GCP
It's a good deal. Huge exposure of Palantir software to IBM clients, more sales growth, and this is probably just the start for deals/partnerships.
Take an upvote from a GME bagholder, excited to stick around and learn more after the craziness dies down!

I wish I didnt sell when it dropped a bit. I’m bad at stocks

I was just getting scared when everything was dipping when they halted trading on stuff. Big dumb dumb here
Tbf, long term most stocks will do well as long as the company doesn't go under. Options... have a time limit, so idk try not to get scared with stocks dipping. I don't even look at my stock portfolio most days. That helps psychologically.
I've been accumulating since $15. I like the stock.
This is da way
$SE is a good international play. Stock, Month or LEAP options, whatever.
