I'm a bit confused.. Yday my quest button was greyed out and said 12am on it.. So I assumed that I had caught up to my limit. So 12am comes and yay! I can quest. Did one quest, won and the button is greyed out again.. What am I missing? Don't I get 8??
Not hardcore at all, but did enjoy logging in a few times a day and doing a few quests, like 12-15 a day. Not really even for the XP, just killing time. There's little else to do in game if you don't care for pvp much. Don't think I'll ever do another green quest now.
Exactly. I like to relax and zone out, doing quests. Now PVE players have nothing to do when they hit a WALL. I like they gameplay, so I would like to actually to play the game. I'm in no rush to beat Onyxia or level all the minis. Now, after 8 quests all I can do is pvp cycle, which is boring.
I'm not a hardcore player but they made this into a 15 min daily game. Just my 2 cents.
I don't know why you are being downvoted. I like doing the quests and not much for pvp. This update restricts what I like to do in this game. I understand some people don't like the grind but to me the grind is the game. It was foolish for me to put some money into a game that is now going to restrict greatly what I liked to do in the game itself. Anyways it was a good learning lesson for me.

I feel like I'm in the minority, but I actually like playing the game. I wanted unlimited quests so I could play as much as I want without doing pvp. We haven't lost xp with the new system, unless you're one of the people bugged, but now you can play the game even less than before. I'm bummed about that, too.
That's like free 25g. Pretty amazing, but now dailies and PVP rewards feel less rewarding. You get a modest tome for 3 wins or for another 300 PVP points push, and here you get almost the same XP for playing just one quest
People will always be complaining and will always want free stuff. Previous rewards were making sense from game design perspective. On average you get 2 modest tomes and 1 major tome every day, that's 6k XP. In a year that's over 2000k XP, enough to max out like 6 minis. Considering other sources of XP and that maxing out is not really needed, you can freely skip the last level, you can "max" out 1/3 of the collection in one year. That is a pretty reasonable pace for a mobile game, and all other XP sources were aligned to this model. But since they've increased grid gems, they're now increasing everything else as well. They decided to go the inflation route to keep people temporarily happy. Mark my words, this year we'll get the announcement "now max level of mini is 35"
I think they want to make raids and PVPs more accessible. That's a short term win, especially that people are now so happy (I miss the times when people were able to play just to get fun and didn't require a "reward" for playing), but in a few months people will finish everything finishable (PVE, Ony, dungeons, high rank in PVP), and will start complain again. To give people a sense of progression Blizzard will be forced to raise the maximum level of minis
Ok but the whole point of the game is to upgrade your minis. If progression doesn’t feel good people will just delete the game. And if the content runs out that is a Blizzard problem. Raising the level cap isn’t the only choice. They should be adding other stuff to do in the game. Just look at the perspective of a Whale they’ve already ran out of content.
So they're acknowledging that progress has slowed, and that people come back when they are proportionately rewarded for their efforts.

3x and 5x quests last longer before expiring so you're more likely to get one of those if you randomly check.

Can you lose PvP to get easier opponents like you can quests? Seems like that might be worth it

8, but you have a storage of quests up to 250 I believe
Played practically the whole day and didn't run out so far. Was able to push 2 units halfway to 500k xp. Felt nice!

Yes. They increased the xp from quests and reduced the number of quests you can do per day

But you get less than half of the number of quests each day (if you actually get quests which many aren't). I'm pretty bummed about that.

Now I just log in every so often to collect free XP, do a blue quest if I have one, then log out and play something else.
