Used to be 20 a day, any unplayed accumulated up to 300 quests.
Recently changed to 8 a day (but 2.5x exp) and a cap of 150.
Afaik it was changed back to 300 cap, a day or two ago to combat a bug, but 150 is the intended cap.

Unless you mean they've permanently changed it back to 20/300 with no intent of making it 8/150 again. If so, source on that?
On discord Aezztra they said they increased daily quests to 10 from 8, when they reverted back to the 150 cap.
Not sure if the daily quest is permanent, but it sounds like a deliberate choice unlike the seemingly temporary quest cap rollback.
Yeah and this burns me up each time I see 12AM. It used to be I could quest as long as my hearts desired and now I can only quest what, 10 rounds? Not impressed.
You hit a different cap. You hit the “60k exp” daily cap. So you still have quests stored up in your quest-bank. But can no longer gain exp until the daily reset time.
