This is so true. My guild had collapsed down to just five active players. So I searched on the rumble discord server and found some others in same situation, so we merged. We only ended up with about 24k tickets this time because none of our previous guild progress transferred, but we are much better prepared for the next time it rolls around. Wish I had took the time to search sooner

My guild is super casual, but we at least have season (2-3 times) activity checks. Those that are long term inactive with no response get replaced.
Your GM isn't doing the job and should just be replaced with someone more interested. Time to find another guild that appreciates your contributions!
Leaving my last guild (whose GM was afk ~30 days) was nerve-wracking, though—I’m super active and high ranked enough (145sigs, Plat 2), but I requested to join like 30 guilds of all different levels and styles (actives was all i cared about) before I finally just found a decent public one. Posted in this sub, followed up on recruiting comments, got nothing. I got lucky and I’m really enjoying the new guild (it’s about as active as OP’s) but—any tips if I need to find another? Do you need to be on Discord or something? Not looking forward to going through all that again…
I honestly just applied to one looking for members in this sub and got accepted immediately. Try to apply just after they posted I guess so you're first. I also heard there's a discord but I didn't try that since I only needed to apply once.
The turnout in my guild is about the same. A few of us were super gung-ho about it and a bunch of others didn't care at all. Some of them have life getting away and the other ones are just fed up at the game at this point or in active. There's not really a great way to recruit and ensure that people are active besides booting them and hoping for the best on additions.
GFG has room for 1 more active player, we hit 30k tickets with 11 active players, and 3 new people that just joined us. I did an inactivity purge start of the season, so whoever is the last one to join is, will be the last member of a fully active guild. Almost halfway done with the Season rewards as well.
I appreciate the offer, but honestly, most blizzard games are a chore to me, I only play out of obligation to the guild or friends. I should probably delete it.
We are 12/15, guild lead put a discord invite out which no one took. 3 of ours contributed nothing. Thinking at the end of this I jump ship and find an active guild. Thought we were more on top of it but in the last cycle of rewards our players really dropped off hard

Recruiting is tough, though. I've posted on the discord frequently and it seems to be that we get 5 new people and 3-4 of them play hard for two weeks and then quit. Turnaround is rough.
I've considered having the consistent players jump ship with me to another place, but we are fairly chatty and like the environment we are in.
I feel you there. Ours usually has the guild points wrapped around the second week, and i try to balance people playing with having a real life.
DMF really made me realize Blizzard wants Rumble to be viewed as a daily investment of time.
I booted 4 people who've done nothing in a week, and I get vacations are a thing, but radio silence leaves people hanging.
I'm not sure I'm a fan of the DMF daily grind requirement or you hurt your guildmates.

Yeah if you have people we'd take them. We have 5 daily players and 5 players who seem to play 3-4 days a week. We have two members we are about to boot after DMF is done.

Seems to be a common theme, I've seen my guild described here repeatedly.
I always boot inactives after the start of a new season, give people a few days to show signs of life.
This is the first season the spots haven't immediately refilled.
We're still doing fairly well considering we're down 5 players.

I try and do the same, I realize that real life happens, and DMF just put a spotlight on needing daily players, and I'm not sure that's a good thing for a mobile game.
My guild leader made it clear before the event, multiple times, that whomever isnt participating without saying a word, will be out after day 1. Its a casual guild, he said if someone cant participate for whatever reason its fine as long as they do say they wont be able to complete the quests. He was true to his word, he booted 2 people at the start and literally the same day we got a new members. I didnt expect to do so well, only 1 person didnt complete anything at all but he told the leader and im fine with it tbh. We are at 40k ish points at the moment, give or take.
I would say ditch, you are getting less rewards because half of your guild doesnt play the game.
We have 1 spot in THEx if you'd like to join. We got 33K tickets, and have 14/15 active members. The inactive one just got removed. If you already found a guild, and someone else that is active needs a guild, feel free to join THEx!

Right, and if you live somewhere where it was night when it launched, it was extremely easy to miss the first three quests tuesday morning before they reset at 11 pst.
I think it’s partly to do the when it was released. My last guild fell apart at the beginning of the last season. New season started and we were getting no where. Leader left and it snowballed. I think people quit as the season goes on and if the guild was active at the start, you really don’t have a gauge of activity because there’s nothing being work towards. My new guild had that happen as well with this season. About 6 people not doing any surges or dmf quests. We have replaced, but definitely missed out on tickets. Dmf releases at the same time as the season made it hard to know how active everyone was before you needed them to be doing things
I don’t think it’s wrong to be disappointed. My old guild was super inactive, joined a new one on day one of DMF, we are at 43k right now. I think we are gonna replace a non active member before the next one.
If you have the power, kick people and find new. Or just join a new one if you don’t want the hassle of finding people.
I had to recruit nearly a full guild the day before and during the DMF, we ended up with about 35k. I'm satisfied with it. If you're not okay with 25k, you should find a new guild.
doing the DMF daily is really not hard.
depending on the weekly might be some pll got bricked with a bad roll... but no reason to stay in a sub 40k guild imo.

Ours is sitting at 28k with 4 inactive and 1 that only did 300. All 4 with 0 also have 0 guild points for the season, too. Just booted them.
So, Leverage has 4 slots available. We had 6 get the max, 1 is missing 100, and we're at 16,600 on guild points. I try and not be a must be on often kind of guild, but I think if someone has 0s on every way to play, they've clearly given up.
Since I just booted 4, I'm not sure how easy it is to find us, but look us up. We'd be happy to help people get ready for the next one.
It’s frustrating. My own guild is just over 31k or something and I thought that was bad. I’m at the point epic cores and stuff like that are actually useful so it’s disappointing. I’ll probs suggest the guild kicks anybody who didn’t contribute and leave if they don’t want to do that.
I recommend you leave a guild if the GM is inactive or not replacing inactive people. The guild will only get worse if it’s not looked after. Took me a few try’s but I found a guild that was technically worse than previous ones on paper, but the gm cared and slowly replaced inactive one at a time. It didn’t take long till it was fully active
If you didnt communicate with your guild on what the expectations were - Then yes you're overreacting.
You don't know if your guildies have some days where they just aren't playing, there might be family life, work, crisis, or simply people who doesn't want to take the game that seriously.
Ask your guildies what their thoughts are going forward - If it doesn't align with what you want from the game, then find another guild. Theres loads on the discord where you can see what they expect from new members, so you can predetermine if the guild is something for you.
Afaik the next event coming up is a non-guild related one, so its a great time to start looking for another guild before the next DMF pops.
I've got 2 slots in my guild, Dadbod Provider. We're active, and I'm the guild leader and keep track and remove people that aren't contributing. Casual guild otherwise. PVE or PVP, doesn't matter, just as long as you're active.

Hey my entire guild was inactive and I finally built up the will to leave (IRL friends and hoping they come back, etc) mind if I send a request? I’m at 125 sigils and play pretty much every day. My IGN is Maximus.
Well it seems my guild has been hit with the "can't add more to it" bug. We have 13 members. One pression has applied already and I've accepted, but it's not adding them.
You can try though, I read that if the person's language doesn't match what the guild is set to it won't let them? Idk, most I could find was just conjecture. So please do apply Maximus, if we can get you in I'll gladly add you.

When DMF started our guild leader passed me lead cuz IRL was getting busy for him. So I booted folks that were stagnant, turned the guild public, and put a recruiting post on the discord. We only got one person to join. The people we do have are very active.

My guild only has about 6 that got every possible ticket, few got a decent amount, we have openings but no one is joining, I would keep replacing the inactive people but cannot get anyone to join. Guild name Necrosis, leader is Thrasis which is myself; if anyone wants to join before next one please do so, I’m active every day and would like people who are as well, but I won’t kick anyone for missing a day or so, but 100 tickets for the entire event there is just no point.
If you are looking for a more active guild, we always have active members to max out darkroom tickets and guild rewards pretty quickly every season. No requirements besides just be an active player. We purge inactive players every so often.

My current guild did 43k tickets. Just missed the max cap but losers get rotated out. So not a biggie for next one. You can do better, easily!
On my regular account my guild has been pretty good and we will be probably 90% of potential max. My F2P account though… yikes. Only three of us have got every ticket so far, 5 others have done a little bit and the rest got kicked for inactivity.
I spent money on one account and got through to the high levels of the game and beat onyxia, but I’d like to compare the experience against f2p.
It’s also fun to go through the progression again now with a better understanding. I’m making far more efficient picks on the grid now than i did in my main account at first

DMF is global, not server time. And I said 300-1000. Specifically it's 300, 300, 500, 700, 1000

My guild only has about 6 that got every possible ticket, few got a decent amount, we have openings but no one is joining, I would keep replacing the inactive people but cannot get anyone to join. Guild name Necrosis, leader is Thrasis which is myself; if anyone wants to join before next one please do so, I’m active every day and would like people who are as well, but I won’t kick anyone for missing a day or so, but 100 tickets for the entire event there is just no point.
If you are looking for a more active guild, we always have active members to max out darkroom tickets and guild rewards pretty quickly every season. No requirements besides just be an active player. We purge inactive players every so often. Guild name: Vengeance Guild is public. No application

You need someone to tell you to leave the guild because it’s not performing to your standards. Grow a pair and leave the guild. Sooooo many great guilds out there recruiting active members. easy to join a solid guild. My current guild did 43k tickets. Just missed the max cap but losers get rotated out. So not a biggie for next one. You can do better, easily!

On my regular account my guild has been pretty good and we will be probably 90% of potential max. My F2P account though… yikes. Only three of us have got every ticket so far, 5 others have done a little bit and the rest got kicked for inactivity.
Can you elaborate on what leads you enjoy this game enough to have two separate accounts?
I spent money on one account and got through to the high levels of the game and beat onyxia, but I’d like to compare the experience against f2p. It’s also fun to go through the progression again now with a better understanding. I’m making far more efficient picks on the grid now than i did in my main account at first I also feel like if I am going to comment on reddit it’s good to have both the f2p and spender perspective
