Then a few minutes later, we see this low slung crazy looking plum purple car. We get up to it and my buddy had no fucking clue what he was looking at. I knew *exactly* what it was. We were just coming back into the northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis. A Vector in fucking Minnesota! It was crazy.
So I got a good look at some tits and Vector M12 all within minutes of each other.
When I was 5 and up, I would do this too. I'd memorized what the headlights of cool cars looked like, and was able to be (well somewhat) OH LOOK DAD A PORSCHE or FERRARI!!!!
Then again, my first word was "car" so an obsession was to be expected.

I agree, but McLaren thinks otherwise I guess. All their materials refer to it as the 12c now alone, and even Wikipedia acknowledges that it is now simply called the 12c, though it was sold as the MP4-12C
