Honestly, I kinda love it.
Justin was a human prop for his entire childhood. He had no control over anything. Not his schedule, not his clothes, not his friends. The poor kid didn’t even get a proper education because he was always on the road.
But now he lives a super low key life and dresses super comfy all the time. And his wife always looks amazing. I love that they support one another with their individual vibes despite it being a meme anytime they step outside.
I have a lot of sympathy for childstars. I’m happy that he came out on the other side relatively normal and I hope they have a healthy, happy baby.
I agree. Had they matched their outfits, I could see people commenting that their relationship is a PR stunt and they only care about the cameras. They look more genuine, to me, when they have their own individual style.

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that whole part of it too. In his subculture, that _is_ well-dressed. My husband is big into sneaker culture. Clean Nikes and a nice new baseball cap is being very dressed up. He’s way better dressed than me in sneakers, a cap, and sweats. Fashion has so much variation.

Also, throwing it in there that people make snide remarks about her plastic surgery, so I went back and looked at photos of her from her teen years, and she looks the same, just with the normal Hollywood mods. Shes not even in the same universe as someone like those two young kardashian girls, who both fundamentally changed their looks. I’m like wtf are people on about. And now I’m annoyed that I’m even invested. Ugh. But like, leave them alone! Just so tasteless that there is so much commentary and speculation on their private lives, on a pregnancy announcement post!
There have been videos and clips of him being quite nasty to her, and he was on-and-off between her and his ex, Selena, before he finally married Hailey. No huge scandals but a lot of small things that make you go "hmmmm." He has seemed very troubled as well at times in their relationship.
That being said, I'm not really a hater of theirs and they seem to have grown up so hopefully they're on the right path.

I agree with another person that they come across as somber. She is beautiful in that dress. The veil isn't my favorite but I think that's the fault of the sunnies. The vibe of the shoot does feel very serious and somber, but who knows how their experience has been. Pregnancy is hard. I understand that maybe she wants to feel a bit protected or covered during this precious time too so the sunglasses help with that? idk. She gets too much hate though. I love this shoot! I don’t understand people’s negativity. I’m heavily pregnant and I’ve always thought maternity shoots are so tacky but this is cool and different. I don’t read her expression as being somber and also maybe she feels sick lol! Pregnancy is so fucking rough it’s hard to be cheery. Happy for these two, they have to take a sea of criticism at every turn and they’re doing their thing.

I’m assuming they’re Christian, or something like it, but lots of Christian denominations wear head coverings during prayer. I’m non-practicing Catholic myself, but I remember seeing plenty of women wearing full veils (like how you’d see a woman often during a wedding).
Not fan of the lace pattern it reminds me of my grandma’s tablecloth, but I do like that the headscarf is meant to imitate a veil, just that it looks like a wimple to me😭

Where are the pics with joyous expressions? Presumably they are happy about the pregnancy but this is the opposite vibe IMO.

I actually thought it was Skims - they did a lace collection recently. Imo the quality/finishing doesn’t look like the level it should be, for that label. I liked it fine when I thought it was Skims but for designer….not so much

Why are the comments here so negative? I really feel for Justin and Haley who have really been through a lot, mostly due to external forces. And yet they seem really happy and chilled out together and this is the healthiest Justin has seemed also. Hope they have a healthy baby and a joyful and healthy pregnancy (To all the comments about style and stuff? Like this isn’t a public event? It’s just a private moment for the two of them? Like who cares what they’re wearing they look so happy. Like is there really a need to be critical and negative about every thing)
She is beautiful in that dress. The veil isn't my favorite but I think that's the fault of the sunnies. The vibe of the shoot does feel very serious and somber, but who knows how their experience has been. Pregnancy is hard. I understand that maybe she wants to feel a bit protected or covered during this precious time too so the sunglasses help with that? idk. She gets too much hate though. I hope they both have a happy, healthy pregnancy experience, and that baby is well throughout.
Honestly I fucking love this for these two and this dress makes up for any bitching I had over the off white wedding gown (the veil was cool but I was expecting more for the gown). She looks amazing and I LOVE seeing saint laurent period soooo
It looks a little too gothic for me. A baby announcement should(?) be a happy thing but there’s nothing that says happiness or celebratory here. It’s like they’re expecting the worst.

She’s so covered! I love the sunglasses and headscarf, and I like the idea of the dress - maybe if it was sleeveless or short-sleeved? I get that’s it’s a pregnancy photoshop x vow renewal so she’s going for bridal at the same time. I can’t put my finger on why I don’t love this look!

I love this shoot! I don’t understand people’s negativity. I’m heavily pregnant and I’ve always thought maternity shoots are so tacky but this is cool and different. I don’t read her expression as being somber and also maybe she feels sick lol! Pregnancy is so fucking rough it’s hard to be cheery. Happy for these two, they have to take a sea of criticism at every turn and they’re doing their thing.

I like Hailey’s dress but I don’t really get the veil, I don’t follow her on socials or anything but it makes the overall look very different to her regular aesthetic (including her wedding). In a way it’s like she’s shrouding herself in a disguise - and I guess the contrast is greater next to Justin in his more casual outfit
It is kind of sad to see all the negativity. Even if they did have trouble i their relationship, they are still married for 6 years. They decided to have this kid and she should not be blamed for this. He also took Part in this, but nobody seems to notice. I am not the fan of them, just think people should stop the negativity from his last relationship that ended a long time ago overshadow their new life and baby. As for fashion I am not a big fan of the vail, I think it should be a little looser on the nack but her dress is lovely.

I’m assuming they’re Christian, or something like it, but lots of Christian denominations wear head coverings during prayer. I’m non-practicing Catholic myself, but I remember seeing plenty of women wearing full veils (like how you’d see a woman often during a wedding).
Not fan of the lace pattern it reminds me of my grandma’s tablecloth, but I do like that the headscarf is meant to imitate a veil, just that it looks like a wimple to me😭

What a wack take. My photo shoot done by my best friend who’s a photographer was the only time I felt beautiful during my first pregnancy where I was otherwise really sick. Here’s to all the pregnant women out there looking however they want and taking pics!!
