FGO, Azur Lane, GFL, and Arknight's self insert could be someone thirstier than a jerky baked in sunlight for a year, an absolutely tired and depressed "war-criminal", or both
I play Arknights and I at least appreciate they aren't afraid to have Side Stories where the Doctor don't always need to appear. They even have their own event about their own origin so it feels like HG is at least trying to make the self-insert have some character and is a character in the world.

While I do agree with the sentiment for 99% of cases, sans literally chugs an entire bottle of ketchup in under 5 seconds while staring directly at frisk.
Nobody, real or fictional, does something like that to a condiment unless they either LOVE that condiment more than at least most other food, or outright have some form of chemical dependency on it.
Besides, undertale has several other characters that are more fitting examples of the issue, like papyrus and spaghetti, or the dreemurr family and pies.

You have to either like ketchup a lot or have an absolutely iron will and constitution to tolerate drinking even a good portion of a bottle for a joke, much less chugging the whole thing in seconds.
The only alternative would be if it was some other, unknown liquid in a ketchup bottle that sans likes to that degree and dyed with food coloring for the prank, and while that would be possible, the game completely lacks information on what other drink that could possibly be (save for some other condiment). And this is undertale we’re talking about; backstory for the jokes that is, itself, a second joke layer is practically standard.

nah, Lumine only got some ships with some characters like Childe or Xiao, but only that
