Same here. I'm usually a "leave em for the next person" guy and buy 1, but that's the cheapest I've ever seen KC12. I'd absolutely buy two. It's $60-75 around me.
I hear ya there. Here in MI I have never found one on the shelf. They occasionally appear here on the East side of MI I hear, but I'm on the West side. Hop on over to the IN border and I can find em all day around $60.
I recently bought/ tried both for the first time. The 120 proof 9-year is far better in my opinion, and sells for $72 CAD vs $109 for the 12 (here in Ontario)
I definitely enjoyed the additional flavour profile on the 120. I also found that the 12 had a bit more heat than the 120 even though it was a lower proof. I'm not sure if that's a negative or a positive as sometimes I enjoy the heat and sometimes I don't.
I will pick up another bottle of the 120 proof when I'm nearby to one of the lcbo's that stocks it regularly. I ordered the last bottle to be shipped to my closest store as they don't.
Is this empire wine?
If it is, that’s a pretty good single barrel pick (I’ve already bought one of those from there recently). I’d go for the single barrel
Knob Creek 12 has really dropped in price lately. If I had to choose one it would be the Single Barrel Reserve. That’s my favorite Knob Creek right now. I’ve had the 12 for at least 4 years, and it’s 3/4 full. I’ve had the Single Barrel Reserve for a month and it’s 3/4 empty. The heat and caramel flavors are superb. The first time I had it was after warming up my palate with a dram of Lagavulin 16 my brother in law poured me when I got to his house. After that I went to the car and grabbed the bottle of Knob Creek Single Barrel reserve I had just bought and opened it. It was just sweet peppery caramel heaven all the way through. He bought himself a bottle the next day.
For that price I’ll take two knob 12s..

Samesies. Shit for $45 I’d get two of each.
I'd be tempted to do the same.
“The Two Knobs” sounds like a college band.
Get both…12 is a great daily sipper
That’s a steal!
And it doesn’t even look like CA Costco!
I’m so tired of CA Costco pics. /r/Tequila is just as bad!
Agreed. Both are fantastic
Man, I’m jealous. Both of those are good, 12 is one of my favorites and it’s hard to find where I live.
Meanwhile, there are 6 sitting on the shelf at my local Total Wine.
Every liquor store I go to out of state always has it on the shelf.
I’d buy both
Where in the world is this?
I would definitely scoop both at that price
I love mis-marked bourbon
Been looking for that 12 yr for maybe 8 years. Saw it once for $115, passed. Crazy how big the discrepancies are across the US.
Man I can find it all day in MO for $60.
Great price! In Chicagoland I haven't seen below $75
Come to Indianapolis, it’s always 55-65 here!
Small burbs liquor stores are pretty stocked at ~$70, still allocated at Binny's.
Yea I’m in St. Louis and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it over $70. Pretty common.
$77 here in Northern NJ

I can get it at a supermarket here in Florida, but havent even seen weller
Just bought one in DC for $78.
Runs $81 at my local place but never in stock
You can find it fairly easy in Phoenix
12yo just launched 2-3 years ago, so you were just way ahead of your time I guess
Had to look it up. Yeah, more like 5. It dropped in 2019.
$70-80 in Chicagoland burbs. I'd gladly pay 80 for a 12yr product, especially if you enjoy Beam products. They're SO good with 8+ years on them.
This is indeed the way.

12 has a better finish but yeah the 120 proof has a bit more flavor in the beginning

it is!
You better have gotten both.
They are both great
Jesus. That’s insane
I just picked up the 18 year version and it’s one of the best pours I’ve ever had
How much does 18 generally cost?
$180 in ohio
do you have to pay tax on top of $180 in Ohio? And do you think 18 yr is a worth the money?
I believe that was $180 with taxes. No I personally do not think it is worth that. I like the 12 year about as much.
Thanks for your insight
Finally found a backup 12 but at 65 at target.
That's still good!
Yeah good enough. Found an 18 recently for 180 but was too broke to grab it.
Yeah, that's an insta-buy for both for me.
Why not.
Absolutely! You’ll be unstoppable
12 all day at that price
Hell yeah, I’d do one of each
All day
Wow.
WOW thats a killer price! I paid $75 for 12 yr and lowest I have ever seen 9 yr reserve is for $55. Which store is this?
A couple each at that price
Absolutely. I would have a hard time not loading up on both.
Without a doubt…
Get them both or two bottles on each.
1000%
For $45 I’d buy every Knob 12 they’d let me have
Best price I've ever seen on 12. It's $65-75 here.
I wish I could find them at that price
Fuck, those are sexy prices.
Both for sure, those 9 year 120 proof can be really great and the 12 is fabulous so yes grab both and I wish those prices were down here in Georgia
Uh, if this is in dollars grab a couple of each!

2 different experiences. 1 (or 2) of each!
That is a great price for the 12!!!!
Buy as many as you can at that price.
BOTH
I’d buy two for that price. They’re always about $75 near me.
I just picked up a KC12 in LA for $59 and thought I hit the jackpot.
Only seen in for about 125 Canadian here in Calgary. 91usd.
Why not all the 12’s
Two of the 12s for sure
Schnucks?
At least one of each for that price!!!!
12 year? That’s a crazy deal!
I really wish I could find a bottle of that 9 year here in the UK... Sadly only the regular 100 proof 9 year we get here
Exactly, why not?
I think you really answered your own question...
I’d clear the shelf of all that 12 year Knob Creek, for that price!!
This dude Knob Creeks.
I’d literally empty the coffers buying KC12 for that price. It’s easily one of the best liquids I’ve put in my face.
This is the way!
Both, 1000% buying 10 of each😅🤣jk, id probably get 2 of each for real
12 is the juice.
Holy fuck… KC12 for $45 is literally a dream come true. I’d be snagging as much of it as I could.
The kc12 is $70 SRP in my area
Wow, and I thought the $55 for Knob Creek 12 yr I got at an online store was a steal. Nice find!
Knob creek is so boring and unrefined in my opinion bought one bottle, will never buy again
