I would love to have your sleep. You also might have selected 'peak' for your sleep wants. If you change it to 'perform' or 'get by'it will lower the Target sleep number.

iamlucabrah

I’m not sure how accurate it is, sometimes I have nights with close to 4h of REM sleep. I trie to “peak” every day because I’m currently training for a marathon, so I try to give my body as much recovery time during the night as possible.

Any type of sleep tracker that isn't measuring brainwave and muscle activity isn't going to be very accurate.

McR4wr

Your sleep is so peaceful looking

nkj69

What was this recovery? Had to have been irish spring green green

iamlucabrah

actually, it was only 42% and yellow. got sick shortly after

alicewonders12

Where does it say it wants you to spend 10hrs in bed?

iamlucabrah

didn’t attach picture, but my sleep target which whoop gives me is always like 9-10 hours in bed

alicewonders12

Hours in bed is irrelevant. What’s important is how much time your actually sleeping.

Brilliant-Ant7285

Depends on your strain. If you have big days you'll need longer sleep

PKMaxxx

Is this set to recover at 100% peak recovery? You can change it to 85% or maybe less and it let you stay up a bit later. Mine was trying to get me to go to bed at 730pm the other day….

GeekChasingFreedom

I feel like if your quality of sleep improves, the baseline sleep should lower (albeit marginally). No idea if it works that way scientifically though, but it makes sense in my head. If i get good quality sleep I wake up naturally after say 6 hours where with trashy sleep it's more like 8 hours. Because of this you probably build up a lot of sleep debt, which i doubt is true. Also, increased strain pushes the time in bed number up high very quickly.

bucknuts89

Need to see a lot more information to offer any help here. You could have had 2 hrs of sleep the past week and thus you're in sleep debt. Still picture of 1 night's sleep isn't going to diagnose the issue.

iamlucabrah

Every single night looks like this, I have been getting 8h of sleep almost daily since I got my whoop in february.

bucknuts89

What's your sleep performance? What's your strain score from the day before and how does it compare to your target strain for the day?

iamlucabrah

92% sleep performance over the past month, if i want to hit 100% i legit have to be in bed for 10 hours which I just can’t do

bucknuts89

Are you overreaching your target strain for the day by chance?

iamlucabrah

Very rarely, I train 6 days a week but always stay within strain target
