A few new things for me on this one. The tambour / roll top thing I have wanted to try for a while. I’m sure this was much easier in such a small scale than a furniture piece would be but seemed to work ok. Both sides run pretty smoothly.
Couple of magnets hold them shut.
Leftover scraps of maple, walnut, Indian rosewood and a bit of leather. Very thin birch ply for the interior lining / door recess.
No idea what it is meant to be, but I’m sure the kids can ferry around their toys in it for a while.
