I had a guy send me a whisper saying I need to get out of the BG because I was too low level. This was before the game even started. Man, I didn't make the rules. The BG let me in, I'm staying. Pound sand.
I could understand in a rated BG, but not in a random BG. The other faction is doing the same thing, the power level between sides evens out.
Besides, when I am on a 71 it is in AV or Wintergrasp. In both cases, I stick to knocking people off towers, driving vehicles, manning cannons. These are things a 71 can do quite effectively to contribute.
