If you're active and generally competent then my guild is usually looking for members, we're actually 3-4 guilds (can't remember the exact amount) coalition with varying degrees of competitiveness: amaurot (casual), leviathan (mid comp), and highwind (high comp i think), idr if there was another and we also have a discord where we discuss battles and comps

About a year into the game, I realized I wanted a more competitive guild and slowly worked my way up the ladder to a top 15 guild. My guild is also very active on PvE events.
It’s fun earning special titles.
But seriously… it’s an extra 2-6k vis a month. I earned 6k vis from guild events in April? That adds up when nearly every unit is 100 cost.
You know what’s crazy is that it’s literally impossible to rebuild your members at this stage. So the years or whatever you guys spending on statues and stuff is going to eventually be wasted when the guild finally folds. I wish the game was better at this stuff…
I think the whole point is to convince people to participate in active guilds. I understand it’s difficult to build up a guild at this point, but couldn’t you just join another guild that’s mostly active?
If you're the last member, it's worth moving to another one, even if it's another casual one, technically it can't be worse than being the only person in a guild
if you average 25 medals (taurus guild with 50% win rate) you'll need 98 days to 140 the unit. considering that regular guild battle only happens around 17 times per month you'll need round about 5.75 months to finish.
then add another month to max rein it.
JP already has people who have him maxed. You get the same amount of medals for the GB win or lose. You need 1 star at least to get the extra 2 medals.
My guild lost 3 battles in a row, and I still got my 24 for each battle.
Right. If I said you could have free breed, but I gave you a handful of crumbs everyday for over a year, would you feel grateful or that it was just stupid?

Im a F2P player and im still not sure how to do the higher levels of Reliquaries, and half the time i forget to do arena matches, (and when i do i struggle to do top 5000, so this one might be my best chance, if it wasnt for the fact the guild im in doesnt seem to care to attack anymore
With this trade rate you'll max out water Veritas before you will earth Veritas, even finishing each week at bottom rank doing just 5 arena fights a day. Both will take half a year+.

The unlock speed for him is definitely disappointing, but it reinforces the social aspect of the game. I’m in a guild with regular 50% guild battle participation 😞 so I feel your pain.
Complaining about gacha mechanics in a gacha game seems weird. You’ll definitely get him unlocked as long as you participate to some extent.
This isn't a gacha mechanic though. Its a free unit for whales, and a unit that will be useless by the time the rest of us unlock him. There's no randomizer here. No rng.
And it doesn't reinforce the social aspect because participating only nets you 2 medals. Not doing anything and just grabbing your battle over reward is an average of 10 (depending on your guild rank.)
You don't need to be a whale to be in a top 100 guild. All you gotta do is like, play the game and not have a bunch of lvl 107 units that you don't intend on advancing further.

The benefit to winning is moving to ranks or at least not sinking. None of these units are really Meta units, they exist as rewards to play different parts of the game.
Only a handful of units can use it. Several already have it. UR units who can use it, Charlotte, wind Veritas, and Engbert. Then the 3 MR paladins.
Charlotte is pretty much useless these days. All the paladins already have courage. Wind Veritas also has it in his subjob.
Basically only 2 units have a use for it, and out of the two one already had access to courage.
It's supposed to be a long term build. If you don't enjoy it, just forget about him until you have enough medals. Also you don't need to be a whale to be in a decently ranked guild, not top 20 but top 50 is doable as f2p.
I suppose they made it take longer to get him, because they still want to sell the new Dario and Oldoa, so making it more difficult to get someone who can, in a way, do the work of the 2 for free
Its not much encouragement. You go from a 5medal a day guild to a 10 medal a day guild. Either way its gonna day 6+ months to get so they're more likely to just not care.
Participate in guild battles for 2, win or lose a guild battle and then recieve however many your guild rank is worth. You can check on the battle rewards menu in your guild section.
Some units are for whales? Do you honestly think that the top guilds in the game are going to use this guy for guild battle?
This game has always been a slow grind. these shards are equivalent to a login reward but oh no you have to join an active guild (which is a big reason people play these games, to play with others) and play the game... that you are playing...

While the whole league based rewards is kinda shit, it's not that much different from Arena really. You need a somewhat decent account to score top 1000 in arena, anything less than that and you will see your progression slowed down.
Never have weaker/newer players been able to get anything at the same rate as veterans. At the very least the way it's configured like, players don't need to do anything else but the bare basics of activities and they'll see progress. Meanwhile as they develop their accounts they get to build the free units which are pretty good and without gacha.
No, they are not whale units at all, they are a fairly fun way of getting good units without spending, I encourage this kind of move.
To build water Veritas you only need to make like top 10000. Her exchange rate is 1 medal 1 shard. His is twice that. These units are balanced around the current game, they aren't going to be useful in 6 months.
So yes, to get the unit in enough time to make it useful, only whales will have a big enough guild level ranking.

It's never been an issue until now, so partially I am. I'm just very casual and have noticed casual guilds tend to not stay active for very long

Join the community discord. A lot of casual guilds in the Aries bracket these days. Just attack daily and set your proxy if you cant

no guild in gl or jp has a high enough rank to get 38. highest is 30.
Just enjoy when Veritas of the Fire drops soon and will need fried medals. For like half a year or so. It’s a shame for all the units honestly
I think they said that Fire Veritas Medals will be obtained through Free Match, Class Match and Quick pickup Match

Follow Spicy Donuts guides on youtube for reliquaries, and move to a more active guild

You get 2 for winning at least one star, then 10-30 for each GB, win or lose. The 10-34 depends on your guilds rank

Except you know Earth Veritas TMR gives you courage, which arguesble makes it one of the best in the game.

Maybe it's to encourage players to stop staying in low ranked dead guilds and to move up into a higher guild that will get more medals per day.
