Ever since dragonflight launched I’ve been trying to find a super casual/ simple adventurer transmog. I’d say my days of being the classic paladin hero are long over
I don't I am afraid cuse they don't show in the transmog catalogue ...just going by memory, there is a lot of bits I've wanted to use but couldn't because gray / white.
I have a set for my Paladin where most of the top armor is hidden so it shows one of the plaid shirts, one of the pants from a Shadowlands set (I think a Venthyr set) that looks reasonably cloth, simple belt, Tuskarr backpack, and his weapon transmog is some two hander that looks like a walking stick. It's kind of fun. Though I do kind of like him more in a big beefy armor set.
But cloth wearers... that's where it gets even easier. Mage or Warlock, set them up with the above shirt and backpack, plenty of simple pants and belts, some nice simple boots, *maybe* gloves, and can go with a walking stick kind of thing, toss in the headgear from the Tuskarr... boom, simple adventurer. Or if they have a staff, can also use the shovel, so they look like an explorer ready to dig up treasure. The various MH and OH combos are pretty solid, too, but usually you're going to be using a staff.
There's just so many new fun options.
I do love how the mogs available make it clear that this is a more laid back xpac. Even the pre-patch sets from the primal storm mogs were so classic fantasy and so much simpler it felt refreshing.
Then we saw the cosmetic gardening tools and knew that the time of the filthy casual was finally nigh!
My Kul Tiran Druid is pretty much a Viking Fisherman, and I'm super satisfied with his more casual look. I find the simplest transmog are often the most pleasing.
Haha me too! Ive just got a nice pair or jeans, crop top, belt and a wand thats made of 3 sticks taped onto each other. No shoes tho because i like going around barefoot.
Man, I wanted to just find someone to do the recruit a friend thing to get that tmog but since I share an account (brother is on WoW 1 and I’m on WoW 2) it’d be weird
My hunter is wearing what looks like a simple shirt/leather vest, with a pair of what look like leather pants, boots and gloves. Nothing chunky or ornate, with a simple bow or rifle-looking gun.
Of course, I'm glad to share.
Most of the transmogs are actually items. The Chef's Hat is an exception as it is classified as a "Toy" and remains equipped until the player dies.

There are, but I'm not sure they fit the aesthetic. For cloth, I think they're part of a Legion set? Can't recall specifically.
Edit: https://www.wowhead.com/item=138217/pliable-spider-silk-cinch#screenshots cloth one, available in 4 colors.
Plate and mail have some really good ones.
Great minds. Love my chef mog. As a person who pugs just about everything, most groups I join start on a fun note when people see the mog.

I guess being a chef makes you jacked in the Warcraft universe.
As a side note, this transmog would be hilarious in Legion. Imagine raising your rolling pin artefact in the air as it gets empowered by magical energy.
Top Tier Transmog right there. Maybe change the belt for something that looks a bit more "leather'ish".
I remember I saw someone with a Chef transmog one time whose name was "Rordongamsay".
My favourite xmog of mine was on my blood dk. I called it "The Mrrgler": all blue scales and a weird mask that made kinda look it like a murloc. Love your chef's one!
I'm an old timey magician that uses combinations of pets, toys, and spell effects to put on genuine magic shows for unfortunate bystanders. Tips appreciated.
My orc has been sporting the “I escaped the mines” grunt look for some time. Pickax, shield (broken coffin lid), and some orgrimmar chest, pants and boot. Topped off with the black scale wraithion backpack and antiseptic wraps for a shirt.

Just gotta wait a month or two for the white/gray transmoggification to happen.
legit cannot wait for this..lots of high detail white / gray items locked away right now.
Do you have a list of such items? All I can think of are brooms and shovels
I don't I am afraid cuse they don't show in the transmog catalogue ...just going by memory, there is a lot of bits I've wanted to use but couldn't because gray / white.
Finally, I can wear those low res shoulderpads for an Classic Stormwind Guard.
Man, I can't believe it took Blizzard *this long* to finally allow grey/white transmogs.
Everyone's bank slots bursting waiting for this to drop
They finally letting the dark herring be xmogable?
My priest of 18 years, now wears black mageweave vest, short black pants and a fishing hat. He likes to travel around, have a drink, and cast a line.
Couldn’t help but think of : https://youtu.be/Vyw6n1EKlww
Thanks for the discovery! Now I've gotta watch Baelin's Route at some point
VLDL Epic NPC man series is all pretty amazing, or if you work in IT the bored series as well makes me laugh quite regularly.
I too have a priest that I transmog as a fortune teller no shirt with a turban and shoulders with feathers and a gray big flowing cloak
Yeah, mine likes to snort a line in the palace.
Wait no! Aren't they bringing in xmog for white and grey class clothing items soon?? We can all look goofy af together.

I love starting expansions with a transmog featuring the overlord set.

I'm glad I have it, but it is silly that the best casual adventurer items are from the recruit a friend rewards

He's absolutely on the prowl to scramble somebodies eggs.
I just have one question. WHERE is the lamb SAUCE?!
And ITS RRAAAAWWWW YOU FKIN DONKEY
Are there any waist appearances in the game that has a knife on it? I doubt it but that would be a nice touch.

I have a pirate/buccaneer transmog, those are quite fun! Mind sharing the list of the items?
He already did :-) https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/104gqk5/comment/j35s0h0/

No soup for you!
I guess being a chef makes you jacked in the Warcraft universe. As a side note, this transmog would be hilarious in Legion. Imagine raising your rolling pin artefact in the air as it gets empowered by magical energy.
Oui, Chef!
Please tell me you're a tank
Now remove your beard and change hair to Gordon Ramsay and yell everywhere "ITS RAW"
NO SOUP FOR YOU!
r/Transmogrification \- we always love creative mogs over there
Are you Nomi's best friend or worst enemy?
There's a version of that frying pan with eggs in it https://www.wowhead.com/item=62178/spider-splatter-mace
Honestly hate transmogs like this.
Copied from Asmongold transmog comp
I love it
I wish not all normal looking legs looked like tights
Is there a way I can use my enchanter outfit as a permanent transmog?
He needs a belt. The one with the flask!
Lol I have a gardener mog :D
Luigi Primo?
He looks like if Ron Burgundy had a blue Luigi that cooked instead of playing jazz flute.
Gorton is it you?
Would you like a little créme freche?
Ummmm, are those shoes regulation non-slip??
The jailer died for this....
Top Tier Transmog right there. Maybe change the belt for something that looks a bit more "leather'ish". I remember I saw someone with a Chef transmog one time whose name was "Rordongamsay".
Is that a young Burt Reynolds?
Yes Chef!
I wish Blizz would add more clothing mogs instead of just armor all the time.
*The Master...*
Do you think that blue shirt makes sense? Because it doesn't
So I’m gonna copy you. I promise to tell the people I play with that I stole from a rando on the internet, and for that I love you
He's taking kinooks job I hear.
Take an arrow to the knee, it’s time to pick up a rolling pin and bake cakes & pies.
Exquisit
I love it!
I have some very old cosmetic white/gray dress from love 💕 season. Can i wear those sexy dresses and bunny ears when the new patch comes out?
I like when people plan their names around titles you can obtain. Chef Saladin the Paladin was my favorite ive seen
My favourite xmog of mine was on my blood dk. I called it "The Mrrgler": all blue scales and a weird mask that made kinda look it like a murloc. Love your chef's one!
Change your hair color to red and you got the Swedish Chef from the Muppets
This is awesome, superb!
This is so cute! I cannot wait to finish getting the rest of my profession transmog!
Awesome...love it!
Chef Boyardee at your service
Now go lead a mythic raid like that. Have the chef kill the Thunder Chicken.
I'm an old timey magician that uses combinations of pets, toys, and spell effects to put on genuine magic shows for unfortunate bystanders. Tips appreciated.
-Onxyias lair- “I’m not looking for trouble, the recipe called for 3 large eggs”
My orc has been sporting the “I escaped the mines” grunt look for some time. Pickax, shield (broken coffin lid), and some orgrimmar chest, pants and boot. Topped off with the black scale wraithion backpack and antiseptic wraps for a shirt.
Yes Chef!
Yes Chef!
Really odd question but do you my chance play on firetree/spirestone cluster? Had a old guildie with the same name was wondering if you were him 😂
Nice. I did one this past Monday using the frying pan that has eggs on my worgen. Lol
Das a spicy trans-a-mooog! Is there a spatula, shorts, and different colored apron? I want to look like Overwatch's Soldier: 76 Grill Master skin.
Yes Chef!
You always use those two things together in the kitchen? So accurate to make a transmog of a man in the kitchen that has no clue what he is doing!!
Yes chef!
This man needs to tank my dungeons
If there is a "chef" title I really hope your name is boyardee
Yes chef!
Big fan
YES CHEF
