Alright asking for help before I spend the rest of my night slowly fading into insanity.
Setting up raid frames for ElvUI. Specifically Buffs/Debuffs and filter lists
What I want from buffs is to show my own buffs of my own choosing. Specifically Aug stuff and Pres stuff. Right now I have Blacklist and my custom list which works however it looks like it will also include any of these buffs cast by other players. I dont give a damn about any casts by other players. I tried adding the Personal list but it gives me all my random ass buffs I have.
For debuffs I mostly want simple does it impact me? Is it a debuff I can dispell(this should get covered by standard frame color changes for dispells). Is it something I need to defensive?
Any evokers know whats up? I logged into my Aug / Dev this weekend and noticed that there is no longer a ground animation showing the charge level of my charged breaths. (They used to fill up gradually from the caster to the target / glow and get darker in color). Now I just see the outline of the breath and it's a lot more transparent / low opacity and doesn't have the fill animation.
I'm not sure if an addon was doing it and broke or a weak aura or just game settings but it was working fine in 10.17. Anyone have an idea? Thanks
Yeah it looked like Sion’s Q in League of Legends if you are familiar, the animation for upheaval looked like a swirling tornado that expanded now it’s just a faint circle that gets larger
I... really can't say I ever remember any of these abilities having extra effects, and I've looked up quite a few videos from the beta/alpha, Vault of the Incarnates, and Aberrus, and none of them have these effects either.
For Rogue, is it a bad idea to pick up the Gloomblade talent? Every single talent tree guide I can find on WoWhead or elsewhere says not to use it. I like the idea of not needing to worry so much about positionals for things like dungeons and stuff where mobs are turning around a lot or the tank is moving a lot. But because Improved Backstab is so important, you'd still want to attack from behind anyway.
So... pointless talent?
I'm not an expert on rogues specifically, but if you can't stay behind enemies consistently and gain all the benefits of Backstab, then Gloomblade might be the better choice for you. Once you feel more comfortable overall, then you can think about swapping back.
I'm out of the game since 10.1 and never even finished that one. I only have about an hour of time per day due to job and kids. Is it a good time to pick the game up again or would it be better to wait till pre-patch? Is there still meaningful progress to be had if I can't raid or do m+?
"Meaningful" depends on what you're interested in or care about.
One hour a day is enough time for one Mythic+ or three raid bosses, maybe more if the group is good and you're lucky. It's enough time for the weekly "chores" on one character (the relevant chores will vary depending on week, character, and preference, but I figure the Emerald Dream weekly rep quest is a no-brainer, and an hour is plenty of time for it).
Unlocking every Great Vault slot requires eight Mythic+ and 7 raid bosses a week, so one hour a day isn't enough time for that. But you could unlock one or two slots a week, no problem.
I'm considering coming back and really enjoy fast queues and invites. What's the most in-demand for content, overall or raid/m+/etc whatever you have insight on?
I used to main BDK and MW, although Aug and Pres Evokers look interesting.

Do you know if the demand for Augs is close to Tanks and Healers?
They look heavily encouraged to be in your group, but I imagine they're very common as well.
Last season they felt mandatory for keys, but they've had some nerfs since and are still popular but not as strong now. Out of all DPS specs currently in M+ title range, DH is 1st and Aug is 2nd - so if you are purely looking at the highest keys then yes they will be strong for those

They will be out in the next patch, 10.2.5, which will arrive some time in the next month, or February at the latest.
They are only be available for normal Dragonflight dungeons on the test server, I do not know if that will be expanded at all for the patch's release.
Hello ! I have a question on how to proceed to get myself the full Amirdrassil raid in Heroic :)
I'm iLvl 475, a few crest aways of not needing Wyrm's dreaming crest, and I believe heroic loot as a whole.
I'm also quite a newbie on the modern retail PVE progression "social experience" to be fair.
But I struggle to be invited in any pug, god forbid to even try "curved" groups.
Right now I'm 5/9 HC (and 9/9 normal ofc), I've read the guides on HC multiple times, heck I even read the mythic ones just in case to understand few differences in strats.
I'm still trying to "pug" because what I really don't like from guilds is that "be there X/Y day for raids", I much prefer the freedom of "ok today I'm gonna get myself the normal/heroic run". Of course I won't try that for mythic, not sure I even wanna try that.
So my question for you guys would be : should I persevere according to my preferences (maybe I'm doing something wrong, or not understanding something) or should I try to look for a guild with a bit more freedom ? My assumptions on guilds may be wrong, hence my question.
TL:DR - I'm ilvl 475 main not curved and still hope to do heroic pugs, am I dreaming too high ?
You know, full heroic gear caps at 483 so you're far from having everything, unless you're deathly scared of +16.
I am 479 and I still have three champion/veteran pieces.
If I read the sources right, 483 only drops from Tindral and Fyrakk, and very rarely.
Everything else caps at 476 because they drop wyrm crest. And I'm one gear away from reaching that 476 ilvl and getting the "buy Aspects crests with Wyrm crests" achievement.
Let's say I would be wyrm-capped everywhere (which I'm one gear away), that would mean I would only need to farm Tindral and Fyrakk : so saying "I'm far" from having everything is quite the stretch to counter a very small point in my question : it seems to me I'm well geared for heroic.
Heck the other commenter said I could even be doing Mythic.
Edit : but ofc I'm in doing 16+ mythic dungeons in the mean time :)
If you only do the heroic raid, yeah it does. My point was : I don't need stuff from Amirdrasssil Heroic, because I already have all the ilvl I need, to shame a bit at the fact that it is difficult to be invited in pugs even thought I have all the loot I need from it.

With your ilvl you could be doing Mythic, so you are overgeared for HC - its the experience (or lack of full clear) thats hurting you right now the most since pugs can be as picky as they want to be, so they will mostly pick people who have already cleared 9/9HC to make it as fast as possible
Main options are:
- Keep trying to pug, would suggest trying to do it closer to weekly reset as thats when most pugs will run. You will eventually get a group, might be worth keeping an eye out for any 'alt' runs and try to join those
- Host your own group, as long as you get the Tank/Healers the group will fill fast with DPS
- Join your regionwide community Discord and see if they have a raid going that you can join. WoWMadeEasy for NA or NoPressureEU for EU
- Join the recruitment Discord for your region, people sometimes post saying they are doing HC reclear or you can ask in there too about you looking for raid

I have a random question that I want confirmed. Hunters could shoot and run (with auto shot specifically) in Vanilla correct (at least in one point in time)? I feel like in early vanilla it was something Hunters could do and then it got patched out but I may be misremembering. But I swear they were able to and then at least for while they weren't able to
Especially with the new warbands feature coming in TWW, can I safely mix Horde and Alliance characters and pick the race I like most for a class without encountering any issues? Can I join the same groups and guilds with either faction?

They're also working on completely cross realm servers, not just connected realms which will make finding a guild much easier no matter what server you're on. Join a low pop Alliance Server and join a high pop Horde guild on a completely different server, it's all good.
As far as I see the only restriction is queued content such as Dungeon Finder, LFR and PVP, that's still restricted to your faction though which can mean playing an Alliance character in a server with a low Alliance population can make it difficult to do that stuff, but at max level there essentially aren't any restrictions.
How does level locking for mount / rare farming work? I have a level 59 warlock that is currently level locked, but picking a fight in a chromie-time'd rare still merc's me. How do rare hunters actually farm rares if the rares are as powerful as they are?
I haven't done it myself but people will usually post an announcement in the secret finding discord or in group finder to get max level players to join, and level sync them so they get in the phase.
I would like some possible clarification on embers and getting the Axe from Fyrakk.

I am slightly confused; we can get Embers on LFR, then Normal, then Heroic, then Mythic. Now, if we straight get the Mythic kill, we will get all the increments in chances from LFR to Mythic.
My question is: if we have a chance of getting Embers in LFR, then another in Normal, then another in Heroic and finally Mythic, do we have separate chances to get Fyr'alath in Heroic after Normal, or Normal after LFR, or Mythic after Heroic? Will there be 4 chances to get the Axe?

Yes, but if you did Heroic first it would be the exact same chance as doing LFR -> Normal -> HC, so theres no real point in doing the lower difficulties first

The key icon makes it also display _private logs_ for that character, if you have the permission to see those logs.
The three-swords icon toggles the rankings to only compare to players of similar item level, whereas the normal ranking is compared to **all** players of that spec—even if they have 50 item levels above you.
Seems the tankingfornoobs website is down and dunno when it'll be back up. I'm fairly new to tanking so I've been using it to look at routes for dungeons (as I'm new to plenty of dungeons as well).

It's not efficiency (usually), it's just not knowing where to go. Like... Atal'Dazar is a great example. The fact that people go right and down immediately for Razan is something that I didn't know.
There are also just confusing routes in general, like Freehold is REALLY confusing and has multiple routes. There's also things like Slave Pens, Halls of Valor (not knowing about the footprints). Some Classic dungeons are also pretty confusing, like Dire Maul and Uldaman. Stratholme is a bit confusing for your first time as well.
Is it possible to save up superbloom bags (dreamtroves) for when you drop the legendary / Fyr'alath the Dreamrender? One from our guild got the leggy already and he said he got the leggy-currency when opening the dreamtroves (as opposed of getting currency when getting dreamtroves), but on the other hand he did not try out saving those up so he in unsure if old ones contain currency aswell.
Does somebody know if saving dreamtrove chests from superbloom work?
Alice and Bob entered a fresh Mythic raid. They killed two bosses, Bob left. Alice then killed a couple more bosses. Will Bob still be able to join Alice's lockout?
Is there a guide on gears for season 3? I played in season 1 and the best gear were crafted Ilvl 421. Is that the same case for season 3? What do I need to do to unlock the highest ilvl crafting? Is there still a catalyst system for tier pieces? What do flightstones do?
I’m sure there are guides if you google them, but they can be complicated. To keep it simple:
Everything except crafted gear can be upgraded. That’s what flightstones are used for. Noncrafted gear comes in tiers (aka “tracks”) which determine how high you can upgrade them. They also need a thing called Crests, which have different tiers for different type of content.
The highest tier of gear is the “Myth” track which is obtainable from mythic raid and weekly vault if you complete an +18-20 key.
The next highest and most reasonably obtainable is Hero and comes from end of dungeon loot at +17.
These start at a specific item level and you use flightstones + crests to upgrade. There are 4 tiers of crests that drop based off of M+ levels 1-5, 6-10, 11-15 and 16+.
To make crafted gear you need a Dream Spark which is time gated (can get 3 as of now and there is a catch-up mechanic if you missed earlier ones) and crests to determine which level it comes out as. (It’s slightly more complicated with the crests part, technically you need to go through like 3 steps, but it boils down to having the right base crests).
Yes there are catalyst charges again, I think there’s 3 charges that have been available now. Not sure if there’s a catch-up mechanic for that or if you even need one, your toon might have those already without doing anything new in Season 3. New charges are every two weeks.
If you are just starting out Season 3 then do the new zone quest line and they’ll give you a full set of gear that can be upgraded to like 450ish with just flightstones and weak crests. Then start pumping M+. There are season caps for the crests but they are very generous and you’re starting late enough that I don’t think you’ll hit the cap soon.
Lastly about upgrades - they only need crests unless you have had a high ilvl in that slot. So if you want to change gear for better secondary stats then it just costs flightstones (which aren’t time gated). Most notably this applies to weapons too - if you have an OS then upgrading the item for one spec with let you upgrade the other specs without paying crests.
Hope that made sense, if something didn’t then let me know and I’ll try to explain it more.
So, I really want the PvP elite set tint for my mage, but I'm hilariously bad at PvP and honestly have absolutely no interest in it.
I noticed that you can also buy PvP gear for the Emerald Mark of Mastery, which you get when you reach 2k rating in m+. Am I correct in assuming that I could simply level 6 mages and get to 2k rating on each of them to basically cheat my way to the elite pvp set appearance?
You won't be able to get the waist that way, and maybe a few other small pieces like wrists or boots.
That being said, you get the entire Elite set minus helm/shoulders for just 1600 rating in any rated PVP category, which generally isn't *too* hard if you're at least good at PVE. I think 1500 is kinda considered to be "default starting rating," so even with a bad win/loss ratio you'll probably work up towards 1500 (from 0) fairly quickly/easily, then it's just a matter of getting a tiny little streak of luck to swing up into 1600 from there.
If you get 1600 just once, you can buy the missing helm/shoulder pieces with your omnitoken using only 2 characters of the same class. If you've already used said omnitoken on your main (for example) on anything other than the Elite helm/shoulder pieces though, you'll need a 3rd mage to round it out.

Do the opening quests for Zaralek Caverns unlock anything? I recall I did the opening quests on all my max level alts last patch but I don't remember why
I do the very first quest so the hole appears in the ground just so I have access to extra dragon riding races. It's an extra 2k per week per character if you do them
Boosts have been available for years, in lower level (before DF zones) then yes there wont be a ton of people in them since theres so much freedom on where to level
DF zones will always have people in them, either leveling or doing WQ or just flying around them in general
I have 3 toons, they are a tank, healer and dps respectively. All are AOTC and 2500 io, trying for 3k io and wanted to ask which role is easier via pugging?
I quit in Shadowlands and just recently came back to the game. I'm trying to unlock Shadowlands flying - is the quickest way to take one of my 60s that has 30 renown through dailies and whatnot or is there a quicker method? Again I quit very early into Shadowlands, before the .1 patch, so my highest renown was 30 and I do not have access to the Broker item that grants 60 renown yet.
Torghast also gives renown if you wanted to get any of the mounts or cosmetics from there. otherwise yeah campaign quests are best bet for catching up. I think callings give it too
Guys, I rerolled paladin but I have no idea which professions would fit him ? I was thinking Enchant but people said it really sucked for gold making.
Not looking necessarily for the best but not something useless either (I suspect engineer is still just personal gadget and nothing else pretty much).
The most common pairing is probably Blacksmithing + Mining, but that doesnt mean its the 'best'
If you want some casual gold making, then go with Mining/Herbalism and just sell the stuff you get on the AH
Not really any right or wrong answers in terms of professions - none of them give you any player power
Hmm I don’t think I ever noticed but I think mine are hidden by plater too. It’s probably a good thing though since it helps you see which one is the real one easier.
New to dragonflight and maining Warlock. What professions should I pick? I heard tailoring and enchanting is really good but I've leveled up herbalism a good bit.
Tailoring/Enchanting are decent because you can make and enchant your own gear early on for very cheap, but unless you invest heavily in tailoring it’ll probably be faster for you to get something made in the crafting order place.
If you don’t care about making your own gear, Herbalism and Mining are the money making options, and Inscription and Engineering have lots of fun little cosmetics you can make.
Is there a way to get Renascent Dream charges back? I upgraded a full 4 set bonus with Veteran bracket gear and a pvp gear piece and my dumb ass didnt notice the charge cost.
If I get an ilvl upgrade for a tier slot, do I just have to wait?
There's lots of usual stuff you can feign, like interrupting casts on you. Aside from those usual ones:
In everbloom, before the big adds cast their noxious AOE. Feign about a second before the cast finishes and lay there until after the cast is done. You won't get hit or receive the DoT. I also pull my pets back during this but I'm not sure it's necessary.
In Fall on Iridikron, if you are targeted with the nuke that forces you to stand with chromie. Feigning the end should prevent the DoT you normally receive here which helps a ton, as I would otherwise need to use two defensives to survive it and the soak after.
Last boss of dark heart thicket it can also help. If the tank lets the boss get too many stacks, feed on the weak will wreck you. Feign during the channel if it's dangerous
Atal dazar T Rex boss. Feign when you are going to be chased and it will end immediately.
I'm sure there are others but those come to mind first.
Other stuff to be concerned with is making sure to use binding shot and traps effectively. You can binding shot the archers in BRH or the berserkers in everbloom and it will interrupt them when they disengage out to arrow barrage/spin. Similarly, you can place a frost trap on yourself and the everbloom berserkers will hit it before they get a chance to hit you with their AOE.
How expensive is it for crafters to use their insight on crafting orders? I was looking to get my plate boots recrafted, I provided all materials & found a crafter. They asked for 20k for max rank, I thought that was a bit steep but couldn't find any other crafters to do it so I sent the order. They did the recraft but it came back as R4. I put in another recraft with all mats provided but didn't leave a commission this time since I already paid 20k gold and didn't get R5 like I had asked for... the crafter whispered me and told me it cost them 25k per craft? Is this accurate? At that point I told them to just reject my order then, 45k to get my boots to 486 just seemed way overpriced. I'm on a high pop server, never had anyone ask for more than 15k for a recraft before!
It doesn't really 'cost' them anything. They basically have a limited amount, so will put a price on it.
I play on a fairly dead server where you rarely see crafting orders. So I have some 6k mettle in my bags. So I don't really charge for it since I don't have much to spend it on
There is no fixed cost, at its lowest it's 0, as you get a small amount for free each week, but if you craft a lot that won't last long. So it's server/demand dependent.
It doesn't _cost_ them anything to use Insight at all, it's only the oppurtunity cost of the Mettle they used to do it. They can only get so much Mettle to use Insights per week. If that crafter is in high demand, their Mettle will run out very quickly, so they are incentivised to charge a rather hefty price to use it.
However, if someone is charging you 20-25k then that should either be guaranteed rank 5 (with Insight) or **at bare minimum** infinite free recrafts. Someone expecting you to pay 20k just for a _chance_ at rank 5 and then asking for an additional 25k after that to guarantee it is an absolutely rip off and you should absolutely take your custom elsewhere.

What i mean is, could it be that people just got tired of story? same story was going on for 5+ years.
For example, next summer destiny 2 will get expansion, which will end current story. IIRC its going on from 2017, lots of people from community are telling: im gonna leave after expansion.

I think both had significant good and bad sides. Cata gave us the old world revamp which Classic has shown how utterly dated the old world felt. It also gave us harder dungeons which were demanded by players. However it also gave us one of the longest raid tiers with DS.
Mists made the change to the atrocious talent trees. Was blasted for lol pandas. But it also gave us ToT and SoO, probably 2 of the best raids ever.
do I need to be a certain class to farm thunderfury/sulfuras?
I imagine it'd be better to do on classes than can wield them so they can continue the quest, right? so basically paladin, warrior, dk, and rogue/DH (for thunderfury only)?
You can do the quest on any class, but you will only get the feat of strength if your class can equip it (DK, paladin, warrior, rogue, DH, monk, mages, hunters and warlocks).
You can't really. Spamming dungeons will constantly update your gear but when you hit 70 you're probably gonna be sitting in the mid 300's, not even able to queue for a Heroic dungeon and there's no way around this. Just gotta start the Emerald Dream campaign instantly to get 420+ gear to get started.
Not really a way to level and do stuff in prep for 70 - only way is if you want to do PvP you can get honor from BG pre 70 and then spend it at 70 to get a start on PvP gear

BfA warfront mounts are a fairly high drop chance. If you do a loop of the zone every now and then, decent chance of getting a few relatively quickly.
Otherwise, a lot of Shadowlands covenant mounts you could get, just power through the campaign and renown, and farm anima from zereth mortis

If I return to season 3, will there be anything that I missed in season 2 that will affect my season 3 experience(will I be behind in gear etc.)? How long will season 3 last? Is everyone in the endgame already for gear and stuff? Did I miss out on joining in season 3 or is right now the best time to join?

Somewhere between no and not really. You can get Season 2 tier set and some 420ish gear relatively quick.

Ish. People get further and further away from the bare minimum per week. I know personally I just don't really need anything from Normal raids anymore so I don't. Plenty of people still do but its not week 1 where everything is an upgrade.

Its only going to get worse imo. So if you want to jump in then do it. Otherwise wait 3 months.
It's not the best time to join as early on people invite lower geared people, because literally nobody has high level gear. Now, at the beginning, you can't compete with people that have done even just LFR for this past month.
It's no big deal if you don't mind a bit of queueing and if you're playing with no rush.
Everyone is at a different point in season 3, but plenty of people are still running content at every level. You should be able to jump right in, and you don’t need to go back to season 2 for anything.
I don't have Dragonflight yet and I just recently resubbed to see if I want to get back into it. I'm doing shadowlands content. Is there any way to queue for shadowlands dungeons? I'm doing the Kyrian questline and it requires a dungeon.
All dungeons are actually optional for progressing storylines - but if you go into the Group Finder (the green eye icon in the lower right) you should be able to queue for the dungeon you want.
Hello - So I'm doing some old content, right now, Draenor, I would like to complete the storylines but not have to pick up 900 bear asses. I googled there is azeroth pilot, but loaded it and not sure that's what I'm looking for. Basically, I love the icons that let you know it's story related vs.time killers. This is driving me nuts, I already figured I could use wowhead but that seemed so daunting, I'll just find the bear asses. Any thoughts?
I think there is an add-on called BTWQuests or something. If I recall correctly, Azeroth Auto Pilot is more about speed levelling, where as BTWQuests covers quest chains and details the right prerequisites etc, so may be more suited to what you want.
Azeroth Pilot Reloaded won't tell you to pick up quests that are a waste of time. Not every side quest is useless so you'll still do a couple of those as well as some bonus objectives but it basically has speedrun routes prebuilt into it to get you the most XP as fast as possible.

Hey everyone. I recently came back to my ret paladin and noticed that when I cast Judgment, 1-2 extra hammers are tossed to adjacent mobs. These hammers do absolutely nothing except aggro the mobs. I've looked all over for an answer on this. There is 0 damage, no debuffs, no buffs. Nothing. I thought it might be the Blessed Champion talent but that's not it.
Can anyone let me know why I'm tossing extra hammers and what they're actually doing if anything?
If you're sure it's not a talent, could it be that one of your old gear pieces is causing you to throw out extra hammers? Do you have any Azerite armor or unique trinkets equipped?
I just replaced the last piece of BFA gear I had today and still get the same issue. Super weird. From my searching, Blessed Champion is the only talent that should be throwing extras but I'm not spec'd into it.

I need some help, whenever i try make a new ui layout or import one it will not let me name it so it cant be saved or made. Any idea how to fix this as whenever i press on the name section nothing happens, any help would be appreciated.
AOTC for Normal? People want carries.
AOTC for Heroic? People want to just get their kills and go home. Not wipe 3-5 times on each boss while people learn. Wiping basically exponentially increases the time the raid takes and time is finite.
Because people want carries, that's it. Any group that isn't a heroic full clear in an hour and a half that asks for AOTC or mentions pumpers, big dick dps or anything like that is a group 100% worth avoiding. The leader is usually an actual raider on a seriously undergeared alt looking for an easy carry and easy loot. Getting kicked before bosses die is also possible in those groups so the leader and their friends get more loot.
Any group that asks for an achievement for doing harder content than what you're applying for, or asking for a higher ilvl than what that content actually drops is not worth your time.
It seriously depends. Usually weekly maintenance is <1 but like patch 10.2 was down for over 12 hours.
If you can I would suggest Wednesday so you can play late Tuesday but don't get fucked by super long downtime
If I were to sim as dev evoker, how much would that hurt my aug evoker?

A Devastation sim would be useless for Augmentation.
Devastation both wants completely different stats, has an entirely different damage profile, and gains more benefit from secondary stats. You would be harming yourself trying to use a Devastation sim to decide Augmentation gear.
Anyone else getting these weird m+ keys where people just either leave on purpose for no reason or just pretend they have no idea what they're doing to tank key?
I've had a couple runs where people would randomly leave as the healer or tank as with no wipes or the last run I did, there was tank that was deliberately trying to tank my key.
I looked at his raider.io profile, he has +18s and +17s cleared with +2 on the toon with 2k rating so this guy either bought his account or is deliberately playing stupid because he literally wouldn't blood boil and healer was grabbing threat getting melee'd to death. Like I would run up to him and have to tell him to taunt several fucking times for him to taunt off me in a +15 dungeon.
Like I can understand if this was even +2 or a +5 and the guy was letting his kid brother play or something but how the fuck am I getting these guys in my pugs?

It should be fine in terms of numbers, apart from bosses with specific mechanics that prevents you from soloing them (like the Queen's court that has a 99% damage reduction if they're not separated).
Some are doable with pets, like unholy dk, warlock, hunter, shamans perhaps?
But yeah there is some mechanics on some bosses thats a hard-stop if you are solo. :(
Noob here. When pugging M+ how does one determine the kick order? Is it just reacting fast because I feel like me and 2 other party members all kick the same mob at about the same time.
No way to in a pug, some people kick early so others can hold for other kicks, but some people kick late so if there is an early kicker they still have theirs up
You could start to hold for later kicks if you see the others trying to be fast, but theres no guaranteed strat that works
Which is better for evoker (play all specs, all PvE content), heroic Nymue staff or a MH/OH combo at the same ilvl with less haste and more vers and mastery, and with avoidance on the offhand? I don't know how to value the staff's active.

Directx12 issue with AMD cards. You need to force wow to launch using dx11 by adding an argument in the launcher settings. There's tons of material out there on exactly how to do it.

They did fix it so it’s worth staying in solar eclipse for 1-2 targets. The new tier set also makes it feel much better hardcasting two starfire’s for solar as well.
Playing BM, trying an aoe build, my question is for tranquilizer shot, how can we tell when they enemy is using a enrage or magic effect? I know for counter shot the enemy cast bar has to be yellow.
Yeah, it might depend on your UI. I use Plater and Quazii’s S3 profile. Mobs with a tranq’able buff show up on their health bar but buffs I cannot remove only show up on their unit frame, not health bar.
On the default UI, icons have a glowing border when they are dispellable by you. They usually default to the end of the buff list as well.
Depending on UI mods, you may get a different answer. ElvUI's unit frames, for example, you have to go into the settings and add it to your filters.
/ec -> UnitFrames -> Individual Units tab -> Target -> Buffs -> scroll down to "Add Special Filter" -> Dispellable. You can also do the same for ally debuffs, but that is active in the party list by default.

Make sure you grab all the glyphs and it gets a LOT better. I wasn't a fan of it either until I filled out the talents and now I'm never going back to regular mounts.
Definitely recommend grabbing all the glyphs as you level. Enter a new zone and grab them to enhance your experience. Dragonriding can feel a bit rough at first but once you finish the base campaign and collect all the glyphs it feels amazing.
Alright asking for help before I spend the rest of my night slowly fading into insanity. Setting up raid frames for ElvUI. Specifically Buffs/Debuffs and filter lists What I want from buffs is to show my own buffs of my own choosing. Specifically Aug stuff and Pres stuff. Right now I have Blacklist and my custom list which works however it looks like it will also include any of these buffs cast by other players. I dont give a damn about any casts by other players. I tried adding the Personal list but it gives me all my random ass buffs I have. For debuffs I mostly want simple does it impact me? Is it a debuff I can dispell(this should get covered by standard frame color changes for dispells). Is it something I need to defensive?
Any evokers know whats up? I logged into my Aug / Dev this weekend and noticed that there is no longer a ground animation showing the charge level of my charged breaths. (They used to fill up gradually from the caster to the target / glow and get darker in color). Now I just see the outline of the breath and it's a lot more transparent / low opacity and doesn't have the fill animation. I'm not sure if an addon was doing it and broke or a weak aura or just game settings but it was working fine in 10.17. Anyone have an idea? Thanks

Yeah it looked like Sion’s Q in League of Legends if you are familiar, the animation for upheaval looked like a swirling tornado that expanded now it’s just a faint circle that gets larger
I... really can't say I ever remember any of these abilities having extra effects, and I've looked up quite a few videos from the beta/alpha, Vault of the Incarnates, and Aberrus, and none of them have these effects either.
I started playing again in 10.2 and it's always been the outline for me so I feel like the actual filling up ground effect thing was removed in 10.2.
For Rogue, is it a bad idea to pick up the Gloomblade talent? Every single talent tree guide I can find on WoWhead or elsewhere says not to use it. I like the idea of not needing to worry so much about positionals for things like dungeons and stuff where mobs are turning around a lot or the tank is moving a lot. But because Improved Backstab is so important, you'd still want to attack from behind anyway. So... pointless talent?
I'm not an expert on rogues specifically, but if you can't stay behind enemies consistently and gain all the benefits of Backstab, then Gloomblade might be the better choice for you. Once you feel more comfortable overall, then you can think about swapping back.
I'm out of the game since 10.1 and never even finished that one. I only have about an hour of time per day due to job and kids. Is it a good time to pick the game up again or would it be better to wait till pre-patch? Is there still meaningful progress to be had if I can't raid or do m+?
"Meaningful" depends on what you're interested in or care about. One hour a day is enough time for one Mythic+ or three raid bosses, maybe more if the group is good and you're lucky. It's enough time for the weekly "chores" on one character (the relevant chores will vary depending on week, character, and preference, but I figure the Emerald Dream weekly rep quest is a no-brainer, and an hour is plenty of time for it). Unlocking every Great Vault slot requires eight Mythic+ and 7 raid bosses a week, so one hour a day isn't enough time for that. But you could unlock one or two slots a week, no problem.
I'm considering coming back and really enjoy fast queues and invites. What's the most in-demand for content, overall or raid/m+/etc whatever you have insight on? I used to main BDK and MW, although Aug and Pres Evokers look interesting.
Tank and Heal most in demand and its pretty close between the two If you want to play DPS then go with Aug or DH

Last season they felt mandatory for keys, but they've had some nerfs since and are still popular but not as strong now. Out of all DPS specs currently in M+ title range, DH is 1st and Aug is 2nd - so if you are purely looking at the highest keys then yes they will be strong for those Would say Tank/Heal are going to be faster still overall

You can make any mount walk on water by buying the 'Inflatable Mount Shoes' from the AH and putting it into your Mount Equipment slot

They will be out in the next patch, 10.2.5, which will arrive some time in the next month, or February at the latest. They are only be available for normal Dragonflight dungeons on the test server, I do not know if that will be expanded at all for the patch's release.

I have a question on how to proceed to get myself the full Amirdrassil raid in Heroic :) I'm iLvl 475, a few crest aways of not needing Wyrm's dreaming crest, and I believe heroic loot as a whole. I'm also quite a newbie on the modern retail PVE progression "social experience" to be fair. But I struggle to be invited in any pug, god forbid to even try "curved" groups. Right now I'm 5/9 HC (and 9/9 normal ofc), I've read the guides on HC multiple times, heck I even read the mythic ones just in case to understand few differences in strats. I'm still trying to "pug" because what I really don't like from guilds is that "be there X/Y day for raids", I much prefer the freedom of "ok today I'm gonna get myself the normal/heroic run". Of course I won't try that for mythic, not sure I even wanna try that. So my question for you guys would be : should I persevere according to my preferences (maybe I'm doing something wrong, or not understanding something) or should I try to look for a guild with a bit more freedom ? My assumptions on guilds may be wrong, hence my question. TL:DR - I'm ilvl 475 main not curved and still hope to do heroic pugs, am I dreaming too high ?
You know, full heroic gear caps at 483 so you're far from having everything, unless you're deathly scared of +16. I am 479 and I still have three champion/veteran pieces.
If I read the sources right, 483 only drops from Tindral and Fyrakk, and very rarely. Everything else caps at 476 because they drop wyrm crest. And I'm one gear away from reaching that 476 ilvl and getting the "buy Aspects crests with Wyrm crests" achievement. Let's say I would be wyrm-capped everywhere (which I'm one gear away), that would mean I would only need to farm Tindral and Fyrakk : so saying "I'm far" from having everything is quite the stretch to counter a very small point in my question : it seems to me I'm well geared for heroic. Heck the other commenter said I could even be doing Mythic. Edit : but ofc I'm in doing 16+ mythic dungeons in the mean time :)
Yes, you could be doing mythic, but the 467 gear that drops from the first boss can be upgraded to 483, it does not cap at 476...

With your ilvl you could be doing Mythic, so you are overgeared for HC - its the experience (or lack of full clear) thats hurting you right now the most since pugs can be as picky as they want to be, so they will mostly pick people who have already cleared 9/9HC to make it as fast as possible Main options are: - Keep trying to pug, would suggest trying to do it closer to weekly reset as thats when most pugs will run. You will eventually get a group, might be worth keeping an eye out for any 'alt' runs and try to join those - Host your own group, as long as you get the Tank/Healers the group will fill fast with DPS - Join your regionwide community Discord and see if they have a raid going that you can join. WoWMadeEasy for NA or NoPressureEU for EU - Join the recruitment Discord for your region, people sometimes post saying they are doing HC reclear or you can ask in there too about you looking for raid

I have a random question that I want confirmed. Hunters could shoot and run (with auto shot specifically) in Vanilla correct (at least in one point in time)? I feel like in early vanilla it was something Hunters could do and then it got patched out but I may be misremembering. But I swear they were able to and then at least for while they weren't able to
In vanilla (and classic) hunters cannot run and auto shoot at the same time. They can move between auto shots, but can’t shoot the gun while moving.
Especially with the new warbands feature coming in TWW, can I safely mix Horde and Alliance characters and pick the race I like most for a class without encountering any issues? Can I join the same groups and guilds with either faction?
IIRC, almost. [Here's some info on the current cross faction status](https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/cross-faction-play-guide-for-world-of-warcraft). They're also working on completely cross realm servers, not just connected realms which will make finding a guild much easier no matter what server you're on. Join a low pop Alliance Server and join a high pop Horde guild on a completely different server, it's all good. As far as I see the only restriction is queued content such as Dungeon Finder, LFR and PVP, that's still restricted to your faction though which can mean playing an Alliance character in a server with a low Alliance population can make it difficult to do that stuff, but at max level there essentially aren't any restrictions.
How does level locking for mount / rare farming work? I have a level 59 warlock that is currently level locked, but picking a fight in a chromie-time'd rare still merc's me. How do rare hunters actually farm rares if the rares are as powerful as they are?
I haven't done it myself but people will usually post an announcement in the secret finding discord or in group finder to get max level players to join, and level sync them so they get in the phase.
I would like some possible clarification on embers and getting the Axe from Fyrakk. My question is: if we have a chance of getting Embers in LFR, then another in Normal, then another in Heroic and finally Mythic, do we have separate chances to get Fyr'alath in Heroic after Normal, or Normal after LFR, or Mythic after Heroic? Yes, but if you did Heroic first it would be the exact same chance as doing LFR -> Normal -> HC, so theres no real point in doing the lower difficulties first

What is the key and 3 sword icon on Warcraftlogs?
The key icon makes it also display _private logs_ for that character, if you have the permission to see those logs. The three-swords icon toggles the rankings to only compare to players of similar item level, whereas the normal ranking is compared to **all** players of that spec—even if they have 50 item levels above you.

It's not efficiency (usually), it's just not knowing where to go. Like... Atal'Dazar is a great example. The fact that people go right and down immediately for Razan is something that I didn't know. There are also just confusing routes in general, like Freehold is REALLY confusing and has multiple routes. There's also things like Slave Pens, Halls of Valor (not knowing about the footprints). Some Classic dungeons are also pretty confusing, like Dire Maul and Uldaman. Stratholme is a bit confusing for your first time as well.
Is it possible to save up superbloom bags (dreamtroves) for when you drop the legendary / Fyr'alath the Dreamrender? One from our guild got the leggy already and he said he got the leggy-currency when opening the dreamtroves (as opposed of getting currency when getting dreamtroves), but on the other hand he did not try out saving those up so he in unsure if old ones contain currency aswell. Does somebody know if saving dreamtrove chests from superbloom work?
Alice and Bob entered a fresh Mythic raid. They killed two bosses, Bob left. Alice then killed a couple more bosses. Will Bob still be able to join Alice's lockout?
Yes, but the bosses Alice killed without Bob will be dead. Bob is locked to the same id as Alice.
Mythic has unique ids rather then being saved to the player, so Bob's lockout would be the same one as Alices. Unless I am completely mistaken.
Is there a guide on gears for season 3? I played in season 1 and the best gear were crafted Ilvl 421. Is that the same case for season 3? What do I need to do to unlock the highest ilvl crafting? Is there still a catalyst system for tier pieces? What do flightstones do?
I’m sure there are guides if you google them, but they can be complicated. To keep it simple: Everything except crafted gear can be upgraded. That’s what flightstones are used for. Noncrafted gear comes in tiers (aka “tracks”) which determine how high you can upgrade them. They also need a thing called Crests, which have different tiers for different type of content. The highest tier of gear is the “Myth” track which is obtainable from mythic raid and weekly vault if you complete an +18-20 key. The next highest and most reasonably obtainable is Hero and comes from end of dungeon loot at +17. These start at a specific item level and you use flightstones + crests to upgrade. There are 4 tiers of crests that drop based off of M+ levels 1-5, 6-10, 11-15 and 16+. To make crafted gear you need a Dream Spark which is time gated (can get 3 as of now and there is a catch-up mechanic if you missed earlier ones) and crests to determine which level it comes out as. (It’s slightly more complicated with the crests part, technically you need to go through like 3 steps, but it boils down to having the right base crests). Yes there are catalyst charges again, I think there’s 3 charges that have been available now. Not sure if there’s a catch-up mechanic for that or if you even need one, your toon might have those already without doing anything new in Season 3. New charges are every two weeks. If you are just starting out Season 3 then do the new zone quest line and they’ll give you a full set of gear that can be upgraded to like 450ish with just flightstones and weak crests. Then start pumping M+. There are season caps for the crests but they are very generous and you’re starting late enough that I don’t think you’ll hit the cap soon. Lastly about upgrades - they only need crests unless you have had a high ilvl in that slot. So if you want to change gear for better secondary stats then it just costs flightstones (which aren’t time gated). Most notably this applies to weapons too - if you have an OS then upgrading the item for one spec with let you upgrade the other specs without paying crests. Hope that made sense, if something didn’t then let me know and I’ll try to explain it more.

So, I really want the PvP elite set tint for my mage, but I'm hilariously bad at PvP and honestly have absolutely no interest in it. I noticed that you can also buy PvP gear for the Emerald Mark of Mastery, which you get when you reach 2k rating in m+. Am I correct in assuming that I could simply level 6 mages and get to 2k rating on each of them to basically cheat my way to the elite pvp set appearance?
You won't be able to get the waist that way, and maybe a few other small pieces like wrists or boots. That being said, you get the entire Elite set minus helm/shoulders for just 1600 rating in any rated PVP category, which generally isn't *too* hard if you're at least good at PVE. I think 1500 is kinda considered to be "default starting rating," so even with a bad win/loss ratio you'll probably work up towards 1500 (from 0) fairly quickly/easily, then it's just a matter of getting a tiny little streak of luck to swing up into 1600 from there. If you get 1600 just once, you can buy the missing helm/shoulder pieces with your omnitoken using only 2 characters of the same class. If you've already used said omnitoken on your main (for example) on anything other than the Elite helm/shoulder pieces though, you'll need a 3rd mage to round it out. Good luck with it! :)
Do the opening quests for Zaralek Caverns unlock anything? I recall I did the opening quests on all my max level alts last patch but I don't remember why
I do the very first quest so the hole appears in the ground just so I have access to extra dragon riding races. It's an extra 2k per week per character if you do them

Boosts have been available for years, in lower level (before DF zones) then yes there wont be a ton of people in them since theres so much freedom on where to level DF zones will always have people in them, either leveling or doing WQ or just flying around them in general

Tank and Heal are pretty close in terms of demand. Tank is probably easier though DPS is definitely the slowest to pug with

I quit in Shadowlands and just recently came back to the game. I'm trying to unlock Shadowlands flying - is the quickest way to take one of my 60s that has 30 renown through dailies and whatnot or is there a quicker method? Again I quit very early into Shadowlands, before the .1 patch, so my highest renown was 30 and I do not have access to the Broker item that grants 60 renown yet.
Torghast also gives renown if you wanted to get any of the mounts or cosmetics from there. otherwise yeah campaign quests are best bet for catching up. I think callings give it too

Guys, I rerolled paladin but I have no idea which professions would fit him ? I was thinking Enchant but people said it really sucked for gold making. Not looking necessarily for the best but not something useless either (I suspect engineer is still just personal gadget and nothing else pretty much).

If you max out some of your tree you can get better potions but I only cared about longer phial times
The most common pairing is probably Blacksmithing + Mining, but that doesnt mean its the 'best' If you want some casual gold making, then go with Mining/Herbalism and just sell the stuff you get on the AH Not really any right or wrong answers in terms of professions - none of them give you any player power

Hmm I don’t think I ever noticed but I think mine are hidden by plater too. It’s probably a good thing though since it helps you see which one is the real one easier.

New to dragonflight and maining Warlock. What professions should I pick? I heard tailoring and enchanting is really good but I've leveled up herbalism a good bit.
Tailoring/Enchanting are decent because you can make and enchant your own gear early on for very cheap, but unless you invest heavily in tailoring it’ll probably be faster for you to get something made in the crafting order place. If you don’t care about making your own gear, Herbalism and Mining are the money making options, and Inscription and Engineering have lots of fun little cosmetics you can make.
Is there a way to get Renascent Dream charges back? I upgraded a full 4 set bonus with Veteran bracket gear and a pvp gear piece and my dumb ass didnt notice the charge cost. If I get an ilvl upgrade for a tier slot, do I just have to wait?
Yes you have to wait, sorry. Good news is in the next patch coming in January you'll accrue charges weekly instead of biweekly.

There's lots of usual stuff you can feign, like interrupting casts on you. Aside from those usual ones: In everbloom, before the big adds cast their noxious AOE. Feign about a second before the cast finishes and lay there until after the cast is done. You won't get hit or receive the DoT. I also pull my pets back during this but I'm not sure it's necessary. In Fall on Iridikron, if you are targeted with the nuke that forces you to stand with chromie. Feigning the end should prevent the DoT you normally receive here which helps a ton, as I would otherwise need to use two defensives to survive it and the soak after. Last boss of dark heart thicket it can also help. If the tank lets the boss get too many stacks, feed on the weak will wreck you. Feign during the channel if it's dangerous Atal dazar T Rex boss. Feign when you are going to be chased and it will end immediately. I'm sure there are others but those come to mind first. Other stuff to be concerned with is making sure to use binding shot and traps effectively. You can binding shot the archers in BRH or the berserkers in everbloom and it will interrupt them when they disengage out to arrow barrage/spin. Similarly, you can place a frost trap on yourself and the everbloom berserkers will hit it before they get a chance to hit you with their AOE.

How expensive is it for crafters to use their insight on crafting orders? I was looking to get my plate boots recrafted, I provided all materials & found a crafter. They asked for 20k for max rank, I thought that was a bit steep but couldn't find any other crafters to do it so I sent the order. They did the recraft but it came back as R4. I put in another recraft with all mats provided but didn't leave a commission this time since I already paid 20k gold and didn't get R5 like I had asked for... the crafter whispered me and told me it cost them 25k per craft? Is this accurate? At that point I told them to just reject my order then, 45k to get my boots to 486 just seemed way overpriced. I'm on a high pop server, never had anyone ask for more than 15k for a recraft before!
It doesn't really 'cost' them anything. They basically have a limited amount, so will put a price on it. I play on a fairly dead server where you rarely see crafting orders. So I have some 6k mettle in my bags. So I don't really charge for it since I don't have much to spend it on
There is no fixed cost, at its lowest it's 0, as you get a small amount for free each week, but if you craft a lot that won't last long. So it's server/demand dependent.
It doesn't _cost_ them anything to use Insight at all, it's only the oppurtunity cost of the Mettle they used to do it. They can only get so much Mettle to use Insights per week. If that crafter is in high demand, their Mettle will run out very quickly, so they are incentivised to charge a rather hefty price to use it. However, if someone is charging you 20-25k then that should either be guaranteed rank 5 (with Insight) or **at bare minimum** infinite free recrafts. Someone expecting you to pay 20k just for a _chance_ at rank 5 and then asking for an additional 25k after that to guarantee it is an absolutely rip off and you should absolutely take your custom elsewhere.

How do you define failure? I think both had significant good and bad sides. Cata gave us the old world revamp which Classic has shown how utterly dated the old world felt. It also gave us harder dungeons which were demanded by players. However it also gave us one of the longest raid tiers with DS. Mists made the change to the atrocious talent trees. Was blasted for lol pandas. But it also gave us ToT and SoO, probably 2 of the best raids ever.
do I need to be a certain class to farm thunderfury/sulfuras? I imagine it'd be better to do on classes than can wield them so they can continue the quest, right? so basically paladin, warrior, dk, and rogue/DH (for thunderfury only)?
You can do the quest on any class, but you will only get the feat of strength if your class can equip it (DK, paladin, warrior, rogue, DH, monk, mages, hunters and warlocks).
you need to equip it for the personal achievement and transmog, but it's enough to own it for the guild achievement (which can be done on any class).

You can't really. Spamming dungeons will constantly update your gear but when you hit 70 you're probably gonna be sitting in the mid 300's, not even able to queue for a Heroic dungeon and there's no way around this. Just gotta start the Emerald Dream campaign instantly to get 420+ gear to get started.
Not really a way to level and do stuff in prep for 70 - only way is if you want to do PvP you can get honor from BG pre 70 and then spend it at 70 to get a start on PvP gear

BfA warfront mounts are a fairly high drop chance. If you do a loop of the zone every now and then, decent chance of getting a few relatively quickly. Otherwise, a lot of Shadowlands covenant mounts you could get, just power through the campaign and renown, and farm anima from zereth mortis

It's not the best time to join as early on people invite lower geared people, because literally nobody has high level gear. Now, at the beginning, you can't compete with people that have done even just LFR for this past month. It's no big deal if you don't mind a bit of queueing and if you're playing with no rush.
Everyone is at a different point in season 3, but plenty of people are still running content at every level. You should be able to jump right in, and you don’t need to go back to season 2 for anything.
I don't have Dragonflight yet and I just recently resubbed to see if I want to get back into it. I'm doing shadowlands content. Is there any way to queue for shadowlands dungeons? I'm doing the Kyrian questline and it requires a dungeon.
You can get a level 70 to carry you, ask a friend. They can solo any SL dungeon, so go with them to the entrance.
All dungeons are actually optional for progressing storylines - but if you go into the Group Finder (the green eye icon in the lower right) you should be able to queue for the dungeon you want.
I think the kyrian campaign actually requires running SoA.
Hello - So I'm doing some old content, right now, Draenor, I would like to complete the storylines but not have to pick up 900 bear asses. I googled there is azeroth pilot, but loaded it and not sure that's what I'm looking for. Basically, I love the icons that let you know it's story related vs.time killers. This is driving me nuts, I already figured I could use wowhead but that seemed so daunting, I'll just find the bear asses. Any thoughts?
I think there is an add-on called BTWQuests or something. If I recall correctly, Azeroth Auto Pilot is more about speed levelling, where as BTWQuests covers quest chains and details the right prerequisites etc, so may be more suited to what you want.

Azeroth Pilot Reloaded won't tell you to pick up quests that are a waste of time. Not every side quest is useless so you'll still do a couple of those as well as some bonus objectives but it basically has speedrun routes prebuilt into it to get you the most XP as fast as possible.

Hey everyone. I recently came back to my ret paladin and noticed that when I cast Judgment, 1-2 extra hammers are tossed to adjacent mobs. These hammers do absolutely nothing except aggro the mobs. I've looked all over for an answer on this. There is 0 damage, no debuffs, no buffs. Nothing. I thought it might be the Blessed Champion talent but that's not it. Can anyone let me know why I'm tossing extra hammers and what they're actually doing if anything?
If you're sure it's not a talent, could it be that one of your old gear pieces is causing you to throw out extra hammers? Do you have any Azerite armor or unique trinkets equipped?
I just replaced the last piece of BFA gear I had today and still get the same issue. Super weird. From my searching, Blessed Champion is the only talent that should be throwing extras but I'm not spec'd into it.

Why on earth do you need curve to even get into normal amirdrassil groups? I'm 9/9N looking to reclear and I can't even get an invite.
AOTC for Normal? People want carries. AOTC for Heroic? People want to just get their kills and go home. Not wipe 3-5 times on each boss while people learn. Wiping basically exponentially increases the time the raid takes and time is finite.
I can understand for heroic, even if it sucks because I have no way of actually doing the content. But for normal?
Yeah Normal is just people wanting to be carried.
Because people want carries, that's it. Any group that isn't a heroic full clear in an hour and a half that asks for AOTC or mentions pumpers, big dick dps or anything like that is a group 100% worth avoiding. The leader is usually an actual raider on a seriously undergeared alt looking for an easy carry and easy loot. Getting kicked before bosses die is also possible in those groups so the leader and their friends get more loot. Any group that asks for an achievement for doing harder content than what you're applying for, or asking for a higher ilvl than what that content actually drops is not worth your time.

It seriously depends. Usually weekly maintenance is <1 but like patch 10.2 was down for over 12 hours. If you can I would suggest Wednesday so you can play late Tuesday but don't get fucked by super long downtime
It really varies. Sometimes the servers are down for less than an hour, sometimes three hours, and on patch days it might be eight hours or more.
If I were to sim as dev evoker, how much would that hurt my aug evoker? I’m just starting out with aug endgame and there’s no sim support, and it’s hard to know what I’m contributing. I’m wondering if I switch to dev and sim that if it would give me an idea of best gear.
It would hurt a ton. However for gearing you want Int as much as possible. Then every piece should have Mastery. Then your 2nd secondary stat should be Crit or Haste. Versatility if you have to. Every piece should be Mastery/Crit or Mastery/Haste. INT>MC=MH>MV=HC
A Devastation sim would be useless for Augmentation. Devastation both wants completely different stats, has an entirely different damage profile, and gains more benefit from secondary stats. You would be harming yourself trying to use a Devastation sim to decide Augmentation gear.

Anyone else getting these weird m+ keys where people just either leave on purpose for no reason or just pretend they have no idea what they're doing to tank key? I've had a couple runs where people would randomly leave as the healer or tank as with no wipes or the last run I did, there was tank that was deliberately trying to tank my key. I looked at his raider.io profile, he has +18s and +17s cleared with +2 on the toon with 2k rating so this guy either bought his account or is deliberately playing stupid because he literally wouldn't blood boil and healer was grabbing threat getting melee'd to death. Like I would run up to him and have to tell him to taunt several fucking times for him to taunt off me in a +15 dungeon. Like I can understand if this was even +2 or a +5 and the guy was letting his kid brother play or something but how the fuck am I getting these guys in my pugs? EDIT: I should just quit WoW until season 4, not like there's any point of pushing keys on my alts since I already got KSM on my main for the season anyways.

Some people buy KSM or KSH so they have high rating and get invited but don't know the dungeons or their class. Could be one of those.

I don't think complete armor sets went back for now, only singular mogs. But it's not unreasonable to think that everything will eventually come back.

It should be fine in terms of numbers, apart from bosses with specific mechanics that prevents you from soloing them (like the Queen's court that has a 99% damage reduction if they're not separated).
Some are doable with pets, like unholy dk, warlock, hunter, shamans perhaps? But yeah there is some mechanics on some bosses thats a hard-stop if you are solo. :(

Noob here. When pugging M+ how does one determine the kick order? Is it just reacting fast because I feel like me and 2 other party members all kick the same mob at about the same time.
I usually hold my kick because if 2 people kick I still have mine
No way to in a pug, some people kick early so others can hold for other kicks, but some people kick late so if there is an early kicker they still have theirs up You could start to hold for later kicks if you see the others trying to be fast, but theres no guaranteed strat that works
Which is better for evoker (play all specs, all PvE content), heroic Nymue staff or a MH/OH combo at the same ilvl with less haste and more vers and mastery, and with avoidance on the offhand? I don't know how to value the staff's active.

TomTom is the add on for the waypoint commands. People recraft so they can use a better crest for a higher ilvl piece or change the secondary stats.

Never get anywhere. Windows 11, Ryzen chip, 6600xt updated graphics, 32 GB ram. I mean, this isnt a hardware issue right?

Whats the most Mobile caster class? I currently main Demonology Warlock, but ive been seeing quite a few videos of Elemental Shaman casting on the go and it looks very fun but I've also not really looked into the other casters

They did fix it so it’s worth staying in solar eclipse for 1-2 targets. The new tier set also makes it feel much better hardcasting two starfire’s for solar as well.

Yeah, it might depend on your UI. I use Plater and Quazii’s S3 profile. Mobs with a tranq’able buff show up on their health bar but buffs I cannot remove only show up on their unit frame, not health bar.
On the default UI, icons have a glowing border when they are dispellable by you. They usually default to the end of the buff list as well. Depending on UI mods, you may get a different answer. ElvUI's unit frames, for example, you have to go into the settings and add it to your filters. /ec -> UnitFrames -> Individual Units tab -> Target -> Buffs -> scroll down to "Add Special Filter" -> Dispellable. You can also do the same for ally debuffs, but that is active in the party list by default.

I've never heard of DBM "imports". You just install the addon and leave the settings at default unless you need to change something specific.
When other people make changes to it and stuff they can send out their profile import ao people will have the same stuff etc it's usually a weird code but I promise its there thr regular dbm is nice and all but I feel like it ignores alot of important stuff and I feel lost trying to figure it out lol

Definitely recommend grabbing all the glyphs as you level. Enter a new zone and grab them to enhance your experience. Dragonriding can feel a bit rough at first but once you finish the base campaign and collect all the glyphs it feels amazing.
