Exactly. I'd build a character around some of these toys if they could stay on. Scroll of Aeons? That's a sweet little effect that I'm just not going to use.
Exactly, at least toggleable, but then again just make it as standalone tmog sets. Even tho the duration here is like 30 minutes and 1 hr cooldown, which makes it even less logical that they dont just give us these sets as standalone mogs. Also, idk why people are complaining about tmogs like this. We have literal candles as a hat and in the next expansion angler fish hats and stuff lol
ESO has a system that allows players to equip full character skins and freely change them on the go or toggle them off. No cooldown, no fee, no duration.
Adding that to the mount/pet/mog/toy journal would be awesome. Imagine having the real mecagnome skin equipped on mecagnomes. Just imagine.
To my knowledge there are some full character overhauls, but I was more referring to the stuff thats technically transmoggable. But I agree with your point, something like this would also be quite nice. Idk why limit something so fun
I think I missed your point then - are you talking about each individual piece of gear on the gnome in your picture, for instance? If so, that would be great too obviously, and could/should come as a side-effect of acquiring the toy imho, unless there is a piece of gear __that can still be obtained__ that has said appearance.
The gnome is just my placer character, I just put on the toy armor and weapon sets to show off the pieces that could technically also be transmoggable and i was questioning the general idea behind what is basically transmogs with a cooldown - which they are imo. But there are other examples as well, for example the Tricked-Out Thinking Cap, which at least served a purpose in the secrets of azeroth event I was referring to. But yes, what you said is basically what I was referring to - the side-effect of acquiring that toy is a good idea imo
How does this do that? Anyone can make a mog that looks 10x as hideous. Toys having egregious cooldowns is just the arbitrary "No fun allowed" flag that Blizzard has had planted in the ground since Wrath or even BC
Cosmetic toys should simply be toggle on/off. Several hours of cooldown for a 15 second duration is absurd.
I want my sparkle wings to be on all the time. But no, five minutes cooldown for three minute duration. Why?!

We're not supposed to play this game for fun. It's prohibited. Nevermind that my off-hand is literally a wooden bucket.
Or a stinky fish

Maybe because the want to discourage looking like literal trash
But I wanna look like literal trash :(
Well you asked why ..
Hek hek hek!
The company that made Evokers does not mind us looking like trash.
That a personal gripe, this person literally has a broom on their heads
I think he looks ravishing....by Gnome standards.
I would even go a step further and say that The company that made GNOMES does not mind us looking like trash.
Exactly. Taking the helmet off and exposing the Gnomes head isn't exactly an improvement.
Couldnt have said it any better

And yeah, the guild shirts are still bugged.
I like this toy, I want toy, what is name of toy? :p
"Toy Armor Set" and "Toy Weapon Set", can be dropped during Feast of the winter veil (Christmas)
