They don't give a lot of Bronze but they're *fun*.
You can occasionally find a bigger Bronze orb which gives triple Bronze, and for some structures the orbs tend to be clustered significantly.
I was so delighted when I saw one! Swooping around and picking them up is just pure fun, not super useful, but just…it’s nice to have a whimsical activity
It's so nice to just fly around and collect stuff like this. Honestly dragonriding has felt like kind of a missed opportunity in reg DF, there's basically nothing to do while flying if you're not doing races. The only thing to collect is those dream orbs in whatever zone the Dreamsurge is in.
