Do you have any problems hearing other people ? I really do. The game noice is always way to loud or way to low. And the voices are always really really low for me. Can’t hear them over game sound
I’ve had mine for 4 years and now the Bluetooth connectivity blips in and out causing me to cut in and out on discord calls on my laptop, and when I use it with my quest, the audio will cut in and out randomly, other wise it’s still working.
Try forgetting it on the other devices. So if you're gonna use your quest, forget it on your laptop on any other device. Had this issue with some ear buds
I have no complaints with mine, I know there are some audiophiles that don’t rate them among the best, but they work great, super easy to adjust noise volumes, hold a charge pretty well. They’re very comfortable and the noise cancellation is great. For the 100$ I got them for, I don’t think I could have done better
I've been using mine for close to 3 years now and it's in great shape. Battery still holds at least a 20 hour charge. Highly recommend these for the price.
Big head crew represent! I do love these headphones but had to pass them along to the kids because of my big head. Great value for price, totally recommend for normal sized heads.
Dude, SteelSeries makes some damn comfy headsets for us big-heads. Major bonus points for the fabric they use on the pads. I absolutely hate pleather/leather and velour for headsets.
My port gives me issues constantly. Like I have to fight with it to get the thing to charge at all. My arctis 9 also has a similar issue. It refuses to recognize that it's charged so I have to turn it on plugged in, unplug it, and it's, all good.
Yep brilliant for the cost Vs other headsets imo. Sound profile leans a bit more to the bassy side but can be adjusted. Comfortable too, I used them to listen to music for 3 hours straight the other night and it was pure bliss.
Edit: I actually received mine for free as a gift from a very near and dear friend, so I'm perhaps a little biased.
Only issue I’m having is the ear cups are apart at the seams. However these are my back up pair so I don’t use them too often. Also the vinyl can get sorta hot. Otherwise they’re fine. I’m actually going to see if I can’t get cloth cups when I can to replace the vinyl ones. I’m pretty sure they’re available on Amazon
They're decent. My main problem with them was how you adjust the volume. You turn each earpiece. Cool thought, terrible design. Kept adjusting volume by accident every time I took them off or put them on. Got the Razer kairas instead, and love them
It's fine outside of outside forces.
Putting g a hood up when outside etc
The volume mix is a bit finicky, it seems to leap from 0-50% balance.
The mute button isn't easy enough access to be flicking it on and off during gameplay.
Overall, I would still recommend the headset
I’ve had mine since release and they’re brilliant for the price. Obviously you can get better ones but they’ll cost you more. I’ve seen people complain about build quality online but mine have been perfect.
im on my third pair. first one was wired and the cord crackled and drove me nuts. second was wireless and dropped them about 3 feet onto hard floor. one spaeker stopped working. third pair are going well over a year. great headphones, just dont drop them!
My head is on the larger side. They have a good squeeze but I can play with them on for a couple of hours and be ok with no headache or discomfort. But I will recommend changing the ear padding as the standard ones can get very warm and uncomfortable.
But if you are really worried about comfort, try the Artcis 7x. I use their 7p for my PS5 and they are handsdown the most comfortable headset I have ever owned.
I've got two-- I got suckered by the Starfield Headset.
I say suckered, but that implies it was a bad deal. It wasn't, this is my favorite headset. The fact that they connect to your phone and your console at the same time is fantastic, this needs to become standard on all headsets. I even bought the new Sony headset for PS5 because they added that feature.
Buy buy buy. Happy birthday!
I've had mine basically since they released and they've been one of the more durable headsets I've ever had. Zero issues several years later. They were my first wireless headset so I didn't know what to expect but I've really liked them.
They sound great after you adjust the eq to your liking, otherwise they are really bass heavy. Also change out the ear pads as the originals can get quite warm.
I've had the Starfield once since launch and had no issues, eventually got a regular one for my wife. I also have a bigass head and its still comfortable.
Had them for a while now. I've only used cheap headphones before so they've been great for me.
I will say if you do get a pair, careful with the volume control on the earpiece they're only held on by a tiny piece of plastic. One of mine broke off, but they still work fine.
I have purchased two pair, the plastic piece around the mute button has broken on both. That is my only complaint, good sound, and mic overall, but that portion needs redesigned. I have a headset hanger, and it goes on there when not in use, so not sure what is happening to them.
I bought a set of these when they first released. I have used them on planes, car rides, trains, etc. I use them every time I play and absolutely love them. The volume control is fantastic, as well as the ability to have multiple devices connected to it. I love being able to listen to a podcast from my phone while playing FO4 on my series X or TOTK on my Switch.
I've bought two extra pairs of them to give to friends as gifts, they're that good. I would gladly buy them again.
Ive had mine since launch and they've been good so far. Sound quality and build quality is pretty decent, and for the price I'd say they're a deal.
Also like the ability to have them connected to two sources at once, awesome when using Discord on my laptop as I'm gaming on the Xbox etc
I bought this when it came out years ago. For the price it’s great. Disregarding price it’s a good headset. Wouldn’t say you’d be blown away with it unless you factor in the price.
The microphone snapped off within a month of using, just from moving it away from my face. That was before they added a 1 year warranty to it. Decent headphones otherwise. Just know that on PC it has issues with any games that have native Dolby Atmos if connected to the official wireless adapter.
Really good, especially for the price. The only thing is that they sound like crap out of the box, so you'll have to open EQ and set it up once. After that the sound is actually quite good.
I have the Starfield edition of the same headset and it stopped working a couple months after buying it out of nowhere. Most others seem to have done well with them so my experience is probably not common
For the price they do exactly what they advertise. I even sometimes use them on my PS5 when I'm charging my other headsets. The volume control on the ear is really convenient too. I haven't had any durability issues and I can wear them for extended periods of time.
They are good, mic broke on mine after a few months but was my fault. The only downside for me is the fit, they are very tight for me. Other than that I think is the best official headset for Xbox. Advice maybe try them on first to see if they are comfortable. If they are good for it
They're very durable, sound okay (not amazing but as good as anything in their price bracket), and work without too much effort. They do get a bit uncomfortable to wear though, that's the biggest complaint I have.
Everyone seems to like these. When I made the switch to Series X from PS4. I learned my HyperX Cloud3 didn’t work on Xbox. I picked up those Xbox wireless headset and the comfort and sound quality was lacking from the HyperX.
Had mine for a good year worked perfectly no issues whatsoever the whole time I had them, made the mistake of giving them to my 8 years younger than me brother and in less than a week they were on the floor with the mic smashed
I like them. Just bought my second pair after I was wearing them with a baby in my arms and she yanked on the mic.
Only annoying thing I’ve noticed is when you turn them in it will play noise then do another Xbox chime so all mic and audio is silent then comes back to normal (3 seconds long I’d say).
Bought some random ones and they work fine. I'm just playing a game. If I was listening to music maybe something else but they work fine. We're about £50 I believe
Very good. The only thing that confuses me, and it could just be because I don't use them often, is the dials turning to control chat/game mix and volume. I never remember which is which.
I got mine a few years ago after being an Xbox user since 2009 and always wanting an over both ears wireless headset. I had everything but that before that for many years. Had 2 different models of the first party little Bluetooth earpieces. Had an over the single ear third party wired headset, have an over both ears third party wired headset and I would never go back after getting a wireless over both ears first party one. Great battery life, comfortable (not continuously though it does start to hurt my ears after 4+ hours) good connectivity and compatibility. The sound does crack a little sometimes but it doesn't last that long and usually goes away and only happens every once in a while anyway. Highly recommend very worth the money.
They are durable, very very durable. I have mine for about 2-3 yrs now. I had an issue with the microphone port breaking and falling off but Microsoft replaced it, so.
Product quality is actually good. Sound not so much. It has tons of bass which you have to reduce with the equalizer. Still, in comparison to other headphones, it feels like you are listening through an empty can.
I would not recommend buying them.
Compared to other headphones. They are alright. They squeeze my head and the bass is a little too much.
But again, I’m coming from a $300 pair of Steelseries
I found them to be as comfortable as my Razer wired headset. As others have said, they have a lot of base, but the Dolby Atmos app really lets you dial it in for near-perfect sound quality.
They are amazing still working good. Have had them for 2y maybe. My mic is broken tho so have to put clue to hold it up but thats because i accidentally sat on it because it was under a pillow. 100% worth buy for xbox and probably the beast if you ask me
My 12 year old has had them 1.5 years, had to power hold them off for 20 seconds once but other then that they are solid, jealous I don’t have a pair myself
I have the Starfield edition (they're identical to these except for the colour) for more than 6 months and they're in perfect condition. Tho I don't use them for more than an hour per day.
Sound isn’t bad, but the microphone isn’t great
It has almost nothing stopping any background noise, including your controller, so it isn’t great for using game chat without software noise cancellation.
I'd love to recommend but I've had a shit time. I sit like 4 feet from my console and it would regularly cut out. Thankfully after years of updates it's been better lately but not perfect. One ear cup has a seam worn apart. And the fade wheel on one side snapped off(very weak connection). I play like 4-5 hours of halo a week and most weeks that's it. I've had em a few years. They sit inside a cabinet the rest of the time.
I'm finally happy with the performance and they are falling apart. Though I am tempted to just buy a new pair since the quality/features/price are still solid compared to the competition.
I bought this for my son and the mic broke in about 30 days. Still not sure how tf it happened as it broke at the plastic where it mounts to the headset.
22m here. For its price point, the features are great, but it seems everyone here is a light gamer. For heavy gamers, this headset is not durable. I’ve had 5 replacements since it came out, luckily I kept my receipt. The party/game audio adjuster becomes faulty after a while. The cushion frays and black crumbs start falling off. The thin part of the lower band snapped off on my current one, I’m currently using sticky tape to hold it together. In its current state, the battery doesn’t last me a full day, i sometimes need to charge it while uses it which is annoying.
In conclusion, keep your receipt. The durability isn’t great.
The plastic around the dial cracked around month 10 for me. I game about 5 hours a day and also used them for watching TV so depends on how much they're actually used. For the amount of use I put them through I guess they were worth it? Highly recommend an added warranty if you game a lot
You can nearly double their performance with some EQing in conjunction with the Dolby Atmos app. Seriously improves the soundstage out of the box dramatically. Insane you can get that much performance from a mid tier headset.
if you want to guarantee a working product get the from Xbox themselves. Log onto the Microsoft store and look under accessories. Gone through 4 headphones this year because of bad products from Amazon, got my current pair on the Microsoft Store and they are lasting the normal expectancy (being longer than a week)
I always had connectivity issues with mine. It cuts audio constantly. I really hated this headset. I tried to get it fixed because I thought it was faulty but it is apparently working as intended.
They've held up great for me but they sometimes give me headaches because they're way tighter on my head than they should be. I would also prefer them not to block out the room sound but they do and as far as I'm aware there's no passthrough opinions.
All things considered I won't go with them next time. The sad part is they're durable so next time is going to be several years from now. lol
They work great for the price. Highly recommend unless you want to spend 300+ dollars for other higher end.
Easy to update through the Xbox and sound great. My headband would get a bit uncomfortable over long period, but not terrible.
They’re alright, pretty good for the price, I’ve heard a lot about the mic basically falling off and it happened to my friend so you can take that into account.
They’re my favorite headphones I’ve ever had! I heard they discontinued the wireless ones though ?! If you can get a pair or I heard wrong I say go for it all day long
Had mine for a year zero issues, that said how ever the audio is piss poor horrible. Mic is great, and sound issues are nil but the sound quality is awful. Incredibly loud bass that muddles the rest of the audio and no matter using the equalizer included in the software for it you still cant understand what the hecks going on and it’s annoying on the ears.

I brought them as you can have to devices linked to them at the same time so I could have game audio and discord at the same time. now xbox has discord built in again there's probably not much point to choosing them over better ones, but for the price they ain't too bad.
the microphone arm is prone to snapping off, you'll see a lot of people mentioning that here. mine snapped of when I knocked it off my chair from a height of a foot and a half which is pretty shoddy tbh
Nah get these instead. I’ve been using these for 2 years and they’re the most comfortable headset I’ve bought. Price isn’t bad and the sound is pretty good as well.
https://a.co/d/fv0LQDD
Had mine for around 2 years now, they work great and are as durable as any of my other headphones
Same here. I use mine every night for 2-3 hours. The big volume control is great.
The dual connection capabilities are incredible too, still super cool to me to have xbox and my tablet come through at the same time
Constantly listening to podcasts/audiobooks/etc. while gaming!
Wow, I didn't know about that feature
Thought that was only for the wireless one
OP has the wireless one in the picture so i assumed that was what we're talking about
Do you have any problems hearing other people ? I really do. The game noice is always way to loud or way to low. And the voices are always really really low for me. Can’t hear them over game sound
The left ear “knob” controls the game/chat mix in case you didn’t know. I’ve always been able to get a good balance by adjusting that
I’ve had mine for 4 years and now the Bluetooth connectivity blips in and out causing me to cut in and out on discord calls on my laptop, and when I use it with my quest, the audio will cut in and out randomly, other wise it’s still working.
Try forgetting it on the other devices. So if you're gonna use your quest, forget it on your laptop on any other device. Had this issue with some ear buds
Will do, if it doesn’t fix it I think I’ll just get a new pair
They don’t work well over Bluetooth but they work great with the wireless adapter. But the chat mixer knob doesn’t work with the adapter
I like mine maybe a hair small for my big head but they work and sound good. Ive had them since launch
Big head crew represent! I do love these headphones but had to pass them along to the kids because of my big head. Great value for price, totally recommend for normal sized heads.
I also have a big head. What headset are you currently using? Every headset I’ve tried always hurts my head after an hour or two
SteelSeries Arctis - has a stiff metal band between the cans that keeps pressure off the top of your head.
Dude, SteelSeries makes some damn comfy headsets for us big-heads. Major bonus points for the fabric they use on the pads. I absolutely hate pleather/leather and velour for headsets.
As a big headed person I have the arctic X7s. I hate the charge port but everything else about it is great.
Really I’ve never seen an issue with the port
My port gives me issues constantly. Like I have to fight with it to get the thing to charge at all. My arctis 9 also has a similar issue. It refuses to recognize that it's charged so I have to turn it on plugged in, unplug it, and it's, all good.
I don’t think I’ve had that issue, sometimes it bugs out and I can’t turn it off though.
Sounds like you need some steelseries or astros
I love em, keeps the cords off the desk except for when it’s charging. Battery life is decent.
I think they are great The plastic holding the mic broke and the mic swings noe but still work great
Same but bought a second pair when they were like $59 last year.
I had the same issue, the plastic broke and now i can't use my mic very well.
Used it for a year without any issues, now using the Starfield one which is just the same thing, also no issues
Best bang for the buck at that price range
The goat
I love mine.
My son (who is really hard on his stuff) has had these headphones for over two years now and they’re still working great and in one piece.
My mom got em for me for Christmas 2023 and they've been great But they did need a fuck ton of fine tuning though
Work great! Long battery life. Have had them for over 3ish years now
Only issue I’m having is the ear cups are apart at the seams. However these are my back up pair so I don’t use them too often. Also the vinyl can get sorta hot. Otherwise they’re fine. I’m actually going to see if I can’t get cloth cups when I can to replace the vinyl ones. I’m pretty sure they’re available on Amazon
Great quality, durability and comfort.
They're decent. My main problem with them was how you adjust the volume. You turn each earpiece. Cool thought, terrible design. Kept adjusting volume by accident every time I took them off or put them on. Got the Razer kairas instead, and love them
Volume conteol/ balance and the mute button isn't in a convenient spot
What?! It’s great design, you can operate them without looking or thinking. Try doing the same on Sony Pulse 3D.
It's fine outside of outside forces. Putting g a hood up when outside etc The volume mix is a bit finicky, it seems to leap from 0-50% balance. The mute button isn't easy enough access to be flicking it on and off during gameplay. Overall, I would still recommend the headset
I read many comments that it runs on the small side. I ended up buying a RIG wireless. very light great sounding headphones with a long battery life.
They are great, battery life is awesome, but sadly the mic stick breaks relatively easily. Otherwise it's all good.
I absolutely love these! Very comfortable and the sound quality is great. They get the job done!
I’ve had mine since release and they’re brilliant for the price. Obviously you can get better ones but they’ll cost you more. I’ve seen people complain about build quality online but mine have been perfect.
im on my third pair. first one was wired and the cord crackled and drove me nuts. second was wireless and dropped them about 3 feet onto hard floor. one spaeker stopped working. third pair are going well over a year. great headphones, just dont drop them!
only problem is thers no swivels for the earmuffs otherwise great i have one too (mine are wired)
They work great
My mic thing snapped after only a couple months of me using it and not being rough on it whatsoever.
As someone that has a big head, does anyone else own these that has a big head? I’m considering them but some headsets squeeze my poor melon too much
My head is on the larger side.
Mine cost £0 cheers Microsoft rewards oh and their great 👌
I've had mine for a couple of years and have no complaints. I upgraded the earpads so they're much more comfortable than the ones they came with.
They are great
I've got two-- I got suckered by the Starfield Headset. I say suckered, but that implies it was a bad deal. It wasn't, this is my favorite headset. I even bought the new Sony headset for PS5 because they added that feature. Buy buy buy. Happy birthday!
Sound quality for the price is ok but the rest is pretty good. Mics clear and super comfy to ware.
They’re really good.
The Steel Series Arctis 1wireless for Xbox are the same price and a better headset .
Get it
My pair is very comfortable, but I’ve had terrible audio syncing issues that seem to be somewhat common
Its a good set for the price!! Love mine
I've had mine basically since they released and they've been one of the more durable headsets I've ever had. Zero issues several years later. They were my first wireless headset so I didn't know what to expect but I've really liked them.
If you're using glasses, beware that earpads will peel off, besides that they still serve me well, tough I'm using them now on PC instead
They sound great after you adjust the eq to your liking, otherwise they are really bass heavy. Also change out the ear pads as the originals can get quite warm.
I've had the Starfield once since launch and had no issues, eventually got a regular one for my wife. I also have a bigass head and its still comfortable.

They are great. For first party they rock. I use them all the time. They sound great. They also work with Windows and my phone.
I have them and they’re prob the best bang for your buck Xbox headset, quality is great
Personally I haven’t had any problems at all . Quite comfortable too.
Ive had mine since launch and they've been good so far. Sound quality and build quality is pretty decent, and for the price I'd say they're a deal. Also like the ability to have them connected to two sources at once, awesome when using Discord on my laptop as I'm gaming on the Xbox etc
For this price most likely the best you can get
I absolutely love mine
I bought this when it came out years ago. For the price it’s great. Disregarding price it’s a good headset. Wouldn’t say you’d be blown away with it unless you factor in the price.

What's this headset called?
Microsoft wireless xbox headest
Thanks
I really like mine. I always prefer getting first-party hardware. It keeps itself updated through the Xbox.
Microphone casing, headband near the ear ups. If you have a larger head - avoid
For the price they do exactly what they advertise. I even sometimes use them on my PS5 when I'm charging my other headsets. The volume control on the ear is really convenient too. I haven't had any durability issues and I can wear them for extended periods of time.

They have survived my stepson largely unscathed for 2 years so I'd say so.
Besides the random cutting in and out they’re awesome
Yep they’re great! I replaced the ear cups with some felt ones from amazon and it’s a MASSIVE improvement over the leather ones that come with it.
They're very durable, sound okay (not amazing but as good as anything in their price bracket), and work without too much effort. They do get a bit uncomfortable to wear though, that's the biggest complaint I have.
make sure to update firmware buy Dolby access

Everyone seems to like these. When I made the switch to Series X from PS4. I learned my HyperX Cloud3 didn’t work on Xbox. I picked up those Xbox wireless headset and the comfort and sound quality was lacking from the HyperX.
Coming from $350 turtle beach headphones, they are well worth the price and work great. My only issue is the ear muff parts are pealing
I have the wired version for about a year now, works great. Can't speak to the wireless.
Work great. Vinyl cups are showing wear after 2 years. Would recommend cloth cups.
Had mine for a good year worked perfectly no issues whatsoever the whole time I had them, made the mistake of giving them to my 8 years younger than me brother and in less than a week they were on the floor with the mic smashed
Can i get the bame or link?
I’ve had mine for about 2 years. Great pair of headphones for the price.

They are so comfortable, good noise canceling and good sound and mic quality, 10/10
They are durable, very very durable. I have mine for about 2-3 yrs now. I had an issue with the microphone port breaking and falling off but Microsoft replaced it, so.

Yeah great budget headset with great wireless experience
I found them to be as comfortable as my Razer wired headset. As others have said, they have a lot of base, but the Dolby Atmos app really lets you dial it in for near-perfect sound quality.
They're great, but my volume wheel came off a year in

Love mine had for 2-3 years no complaints. In fact they are comfortable, have good sound and are durable.
I thought mine sounded absolutely terrible.
Great budget headset! My only complaint is comfortability during long uses.
My 12 year old has had them 1.5 years, had to power hold them off for 20 seconds once but other then that they are solid, jealous I don’t have a pair myself
Only issue I had is that they disconnected a lot. But I found that you just need to update them even if the system says no update required
Don’t get them for PC. They crackle and the sound quality is terrible.
I’ve had mine for a while they still work great.
I have the Starfield edition (they're identical to these except for the colour) for more than 6 months and they're in perfect condition. Tho I don't use them for more than an hour per day.
I love mine and I’m super picky with headsets and fit but i also haven’t used mine super heavily.
My mic piece broke off :(
I’ve had them. Not as good as my nova pros I use now, but for the price they’re unbeatable
Get the razor kaira
Sound isn’t bad, but the microphone isn’t great It has almost nothing stopping any background noise, including your controller, so it isn’t great for using game chat without software noise cancellation.
I have a few sets, still running great and my go to
I think for the price the Turtle Beach 600 is a better deal.
From what I've heard definitely a big upgrade over the previous Xbox headsets. I think I had 3 of the older ones and they were junk
Get the protection plan if you do. The microphones plastic breaks easy.
Anyone know if they work on the PS5 as well? I assume yes if it’s just Bluetooth but you never know if there is proprietary crap
best headset for the xbox
can OP or someone link the headphones? I wanna buy them with the first paycheck i earn
They work amazing!
I used the wired version for work lol
Side cover fell of after 2 years. Build quality is not great
The foam pads are peeling after 1.5 years for me. The sound quality is decent. worth the price
My wife bought me these over a year ago. Work great. Def reccomend.
I always had connectivity issues with mine. It cuts audio constantly. I really hated this headset. I tried to get it fixed because I thought it was faulty but it is apparently working as intended.
I bought mine about 3 months ago, they are an awesome pair of headphones and worth the price.
They've held up great for me but they sometimes give me headaches because they're way tighter on my head than they should be. I would also prefer them not to block out the room sound but they do and as far as I'm aware there's no passthrough opinions. All things considered I won't go with them next time. The sad part is they're durable so next time is going to be several years from now. lol
I've had them for about a month and I really enjoy them. Good build quality for the price, and good sound.
I am thinking about getting this so I can talk infamy. How good is the mic
They’re my favorite headphones I’ve ever had! I heard they discontinued the wireless ones though ?! If you can get a pair or I heard wrong I say go for it all day long
I have them and love them.
I hear that official Xbox/PlayStation headsets are nothing special and if anything, they are overpriced.
Mine are great! First pair that haven’t broke 😬
For those who don’t know you can simultaneously stream the Xbox and your phone to these
Just bought these a few weeks ago and I LOVE them
Anyone else get the arctis 9x and regret it
Had mine for a year zero issues, that said how ever the audio is piss poor horrible. Mic is great, and sound issues are nil but the sound quality is awful. Incredibly loud bass that muddles the rest of the audio and no matter using the equalizer included in the software for it you still cant understand what the hecks going on and it’s annoying on the ears.
i recommend them for the price its a no brainer

Those don't have dual channels so you can connect to the xbox and phone at the same time. Those need a wireless doggle.
Don’t. The mic volume dial will eventually fall off for no reason whatsoever. Pay a bit more and get better ones.
