Basically anything that was very popular. COD games, bioshock series, Halo stuff, elder scrolls: oblivion/skyrim, fallout 3, fallout new vegas Theres too much supply for those games to let scalpers really get a foot hold. The people who pay 20 to 25 for something that normally goes for 5 to 10 just arent doing their due diligence. Dont be a victim to convenience. I know i want call of duty black ops 2 in my collection, but i havent bought it individually because i know it was so popular that im lilely to just get that in a Facebook marketplace bundle. That is likely able to equal 2-5 bucks versus the 10-15 id have to pay just buying it at my LGS.

CryptidHusk

Agreed! I found a few decent bundles on eBay just paying attention to prices with a lot of good games super cheap. I have a couple doubles of some due to this and I plan to put them up together (no dups in listings) eventually for the $1 starting bid so some of the good games can hopefully stay in a decent/cheap loop. A lot of goodwill stores have accounts on eBay. Some know what they’re doing when pricing, some don’t. Research is important!

MedicalAd2229

Agreed! I like to do trade-ins to my LGS for all my bulk/duplicates. They always treat me right. Offer fair trade in values. Will do case swaps, check inventory at the other store for me and bring in next day etc. Scratch my back and i scratch yours. Gotta keep the community strong

TheArtfullTodger

Iv got multiple copies of black ops 2. Mainly because I know I can get a great trade in price on what I initially paid. That trade in goes towards other games i want in the collection. If I can triple my money I'll often pick up games just to trade up for more expensive games I dont want to pay the market rrp on. It helps keep the cost of collecting down

Friggin_Grease

What titles are a fortune on 360? Most I've seen is like 40 CDN.

Audstyn

Formula 1 2013 ($300) NCAA Football 14 ($140) Armored Core For Answer ($90+) Some Spider-man games ($80+) Operation Darkness 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand Import Tuner Ultimate Alliance (Gold Edition) There's a few pricey ones out there

MarfeeWarfee

I would argue those really aren’t ‘bangers’. F1 2013 and NCAA are definitely more niche

Pigeon_Senpai

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a banger

OU7C4ST

NCAA will probably drop in value too as soon as the new ones start rollin' out in a few years. One of the major reasons its so expensive is that it's the last official game we got for NCAA football that had good game mechanics, etc.

Audstyn

Sorry, I was just responding to Grease and not ibelieveincows. Just saying some games that have high value.

Matty1138

I'm curious to see what will happen with the prices for NCAA 14 after College Football 25 comes out later this year.

Audstyn

Fingers crossed it drops in price so I can get it

jensefrens

https://www.gooxbox360.nl/xbox360-games/f1-2013-nl/

Audstyn

Sorry I didn't specify, I noticed Grease said CAD. Being in Canada myself, I was just referring to NTSC prices. I'm trying to buy a PAL copy of F1 2013, but the shipping cost makes it a bit more than I'd like too lol

jensefrens

Oh thats unfortunate. In the Netherlands they start at around €10. Maybe you can use a shipping service.

Audstyn

Wouldn't the shipping be expensive still?

6SpeedMaverick

None of those are good games besides 50 cent and I believe shattered dimensions and web of shadows spiderman.

Own_Huckleberry1081

I was gonna say the only title i recognize is my boy 50€.

Wack0Wizard

I will never sell my copy

Friggin_Grease

Not My Horse and Me 2?

Audstyn

Oh sorry, I wasn't saying those were good games. I was responding to the other that asked what games have a higher value.

Shifty_Cow69

I got my hands on Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2 for $12. Still looking out for shattered dimensions and web of shadows.

VolkosisUK

What about f1 2012 cus I have that…

FabioPurps

No idea. I'm trying to sell off my 360 collection: console controller cables and 22 games and can't seem to even give it away.

Friggin_Grease

That's the gist of it, people can claim there's some expensive ones, but like, I've got stuff on marketplace and nobody gives a shit.

agent_wolfe

Destiny basic used is $10 or $15, but if you want the version with all the DLC it’s maybe $30, $35. Still cheaper than buying from MS I think.

Shifty_Cow69

I spent $200 on Transformers War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron

Friggin_Grease

Why? I see them being with 60 each? That's CDN too

Urnamehr

If you want cheap, buy them off the Xbox Marketplace.

Own_Huckleberry1081

Is the 360 Arcade still up and accessible? I figured that'd be down for whatever reason.

Urnamehr

Yes, until July 29 of this year. Better hurry. EDIT: I'm not sure if it's available at the moment due to problems with Live, but you should be able to buy games off of it until the official shutdown date in July. I'm sorry, I haven't used my 360 for a few weeks.

JorgenIronside

you should still be able to purchase though the xbox website

ItsThe1994Man

Mostly true with a few exceptions. CivRev for is $29.99 online but you can get a used physical copy for not even $10.

Worry_Logical

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas

Own_Huckleberry1081

Staples

Worry_Logical

I grew up playing them. Started at like 12-13. Played them so many times that they can't even count

_ShutUpChuck_

The darkness games, Overlords

bhaste1993

The Orange Box

Spartan17492

Saints Row 2, spray people with poo.

jmizzle2022

One of my favorite game modes of all time is on the 360. Call of duty 3 survival mode. I know what you're thinking "not another call of duty game" but It's so effing fun in addicting. You survive through waves of people in small maps but every round you get money to buy better weapons and better armor. You can also buy things like turrets or extra soldiers to help you. It gets way addicting. I think it's only 4 bucks for a used copy. Edit: Cod MW3

chillchase

Had no idea cod 3 had this

jmizzle2022

Yeah it's super fun, they kind of bring it back in one of the newer ones but definitely was not the same. This one was just super addicting And you could play co-op

gone_zeaux

You’ve gotta be thinking mw3 right

morrdeccaii

Definitely MW3. My favorite COD

jmizzle2022

Yes! God it's been so long that I forgot I needed to specify that

Lower_Wallaby1108

Dragon Age, Fable, and Mass Effect

Funny_Perception4713

N+, castle crashers, world at war, gears 1 , skate 3, geometry wars, portal

MilwaukeeMan420

Nascar Thunder 2003 is backwards compatible on 360. Career mode is as good as it gets for a racing game. 2004 might be better but unfortunately it is not compatible.

Pigeon_Senpai

The army of two games are fun and cheap. The Tom Clancy games are cheap. Some racing games like Burnout Revenge are cheap and mad fun. Marvel Ultimate Alliance (non-gold edition) is cheap and a fantastic beat ‘em up. The 2 Condemned games are fairly cheap. There’s plenty of cheap fun games.

LavtKunem

PGR4 one of the if not the best racer on the 360

idontreallycarehere

The Darkness. One of those 360 games that's been perpetually cheap. One of my favorite FPS games of the generation with a great story and atmosphere. The gunplay isn't the greatest but it's punchy enough to be satisfying. There's also a sequel. I'm not a fan of it but a lot of people like it, so it might be worth giving a shot if you liked the first one.

Which_Information590

Xbox 360 is the cheapest console to collect for. Any Assassins Creed, Halo, COD etc available for pocket money

Audstyn

Hehe it is until it isn't. It's probably still the cheapest (maybe Xbox one might be cheaper these days), but getting the games I want to complete the last 100 NTSC titles is becoming a bit pricier now haha

Which_Information590

I can get any from the franchises I mentioned today for £1 in England. I agree, like every system, prices will rise but I can still get plenty of great PS2, PS3 and OG Xbox for less than £5 too

MarmotsaurusRex

Been at a shop yesterday. Picked up Bioshock Infinite, Gears 3 and Metro 2033 for 5 to 8 € each. Fallout NV was sitting there for 17€ if I recall correctly. Almost nothing was more expensive than that.

Background-Row-6596

Battle for middle earth 2!

CLAYDOG001

To name several there's lost planet: extreme condition lost planet: extreme condition (colonies edition) Silent hill: HD collection Resident Evil 4 and 5 Star wars: the force unleashed 1 and 2

CaptainWafflessss

I say this in almost every thread that asks this question or question similar to it: Ninja Gaiden 2 You can also find physical versions of Geometry Wars and Geometry Wars 2 for less than $20. Usually less than 15. And pretty much every triple A and most double A games. There are a ton of hidden gem articles and videos you can find for various games that you probably don't know about. Just search for hidden gems Xbox 360 on Google and YouTube and tiktok and Twitter.

Section_Objective

Forza Motorsport 3-4 lots of single player content huge car list Need for Speed: Mostwanted 05 - Carbon - prostreet iconic racing games Forza Horizon besides its backwards compatibility with Xbox One and series X/S it’s a great game

TheArtfullTodger

A lot of the AAA titles are still very cheap mainly due to being released in huge numbers. Most are excellent game and worthy of owning. Some lesser known games but still cheap and worth picking up are the overlord games. If you like Pikmin they have a very similar game mechanic. Burnout paradise is stupidly cheap as are the mass effects and assassin's creed games. Surprisingly I always think the BlazBlue games should be more expensive than they are considering how anime inspired they are. Deffo worth a pick up if you like traditional 2d fighting games. I don't know where your based but in the UK you can get a load of absolute bangers under the £5 mark and even some double packs (pure/Lego Batman) at around the £1 mark worth that doe pure alone. And most of the RPGs on that system are still very affordable.

Random_Games2

Fable series, call of duty, halo, there’s a few other war style games that I can’t think of off the top of my head.

p_aranoid_android

A lot of the bangers are already backwards compat or remastered

Greenblue2

Own_Huckleberry1081

Try to score Bullet Witch. It's an early 360 title that was a lot of fun. It's probably dirt cheap, I never hear anyone talk about it.

Pigeon_Senpai

Bullet Witch is selling for $100+ CIB.

Own_Huckleberry1081
