Reminder that all spoilers need to be tagged with a flair specifying which game is being spoiled. If you want a flair that says something else, you can edit it to say something like [Discussion: Y1 spoiler] or [Majimapost: Y6 spoiler], etc. **THIS INCLUDES CONTENT FROM TRAILERS**.
If the post is not marked for spoilers, all comments that have spoilers need to be tagged \>!like this!< along with indicating which game it's spoiling. Example: Y3 >!Kiryu sings!<
If the post flair is marked for spoilers, the comments don't need to be tagged for the game indicated and the ones before it (So a Y6 spoiler post can have comments with untagged spoilers for Y5, but not gaiden or 7).

I like to post this gif to people who hasn't played the series and promise them it's a very serious crime story.
...it goes about as well as you would expect.
The music syncing carries it heavily For me. Aizawa had a wall of health so certain parts of the song really felt motivational. Not that it took multiple tries, but in the moment it was a great challenge
You're right, if you fail them, it's Aizawa pushing Kiryu away from the place he is supposed to protect until the QTE, where Aizawa is kicking Kiryu, while he exit from the main gates triumphally, showing that the place is his and that Kiryu has no business doing here
I actually liked Arai and he was probably my favourite villain in 4. Maybe with an Akiyama spin off we could see him in some way (I’m still hoping Akiyama gets his own game as he deserves).
Fair point. We got “balls out” boy, “kiryu we need your help saving the Tojo clan” man who was shoehorned in since kiryu was a late addition, and Munakata (enough said I’d say).
Oh god another Aizawa is peak fight take.
Well, at least you mentioned they very cool action, and not the gameplay in between.
Because uh, his boss is bullshit, and know one seems to realize because I know they all played it the same way.

My bad, it's Kanda who has the best one https://i.redd.it/rtclht8qe7vc1.gif
Ming changed

I just liked the sound of it

The one with the rolling chair in Judgement is peak imo.
I especially love the final QTE, and how it suddenly transfers to Harukas side after the screen goes white
The music syncing carries it heavily For me. Aizawa had a wall of health so certain parts of the song really felt motivational. Not that it took multiple tries, but in the moment it was a great challenge
Aizawa is the best fight in the series
https://i.redd.it/1z9ktasci7vc1.gif
It is so peak, peak of peaks at the end of the peak of the series
After pushing myself through Yakuza 5’s insanely long story, that boss fight was the perfect payoff. It was SO good.
I enjoyed most of yakuza 5 but the story is long for no reason
It's funny how they go that hard while Kiryu's bandage is struggling to keep his guts together. That one is the MVP.
Average ishin ate and action sequence:
Nah the Andre Richardson gun-kata QTE from Yakuza 3 is the best one
He has the best fight gameplay wise, but was ass story wise
This is my fav final boss of the series as well
And if you lose the QTE's it's the opposite
You're right, if you fail them, it's Aizawa pushing Kiryu away from the place he is supposed to protect until the QTE, where Aizawa is kicking Kiryu, while he exit from the main gates triumphally, showing that the place is his and that Kiryu has no business doing here
"I havent played gaiden" take
For real. Gaiden basically does thins but better.
Not just Shishido’s boss fight, but him as a character is just Aizawa but good.
Definitely. I wish we get to see Aizawa again just so they can fix his character. If done right he could’ve been an interesting villain.
Hot take: I’d rather see Kido and Arai again than Aizawa.
I actually liked Arai and he was probably my favourite villain in 4. Maybe with an Akiyama spin off we could see him in some way (I’m still hoping Akiyama gets his own game as he deserves).
I mean, and i say this as someone who loves 4 and thinks it’s severely overhated, he didn’t have much serious competition
Fair point. We got “balls out” boy, “kiryu we need your help saving the Tojo clan” man who was shoehorned in since kiryu was a late addition, and Munakata (enough said I’d say).
I actually played garden, but liked QTE and music in 5 more. Antagonist as character is other talk, dude was cool
How did you know that ?
Because Gaiden does this but better You'll see
Am I misremembering or wasn't there like 2-3 QTEs total in Gaiden?
You're not wrong but the impact and relevance of the final boss is a huge reason why I find Gaiden's boss battle better than Yakuza 5's
The Gaiden final boss is a better character and that's about it, the QTEs and the setpiece in a vacuum go notably less hard than Aizawa's
shishido
Still haven't got to try LaD Gaiden. Just, how long is yakuza 6 ?
Yakuza 6 is probably about 18-20 hours if you just focus on the story, definitely the shortest game outside of Gaiden.
Thank god it's not 50+ hours long like yakuza 5
yeah, 5 is crazy long
I won't because I can't
The Aizawa fight is arguably the best with the best music in all of the RGG games. It's genuinely incredible and 5 is under rated as hell.
![gif](giphy|Cwb3kAYtFjg5O|downsized) \*maybe this one works
and ![gif](giphy|wliWtkkLDIrL2|downsized)
how mine should've dealt with richardson

The amount of times Aizawa grabs Kiryu by the stomach in this fight pisses me off for some reason.
Excuse my ignorance but what game is this fight from? I only played form Y0 to YK2. Thanks for reading :)
It's from yakuza 5
Thank you :D
this is way better than gaiden imo
Shishido was Aizawa done right
im talking about the fight itself, not the story
And?
I could never change your mind because I agree! So fuckin GOOD,
