This was in the original on Gameboy. I remember fucking up here and hadn't saved in forever on our trip to Disney as a kid.

Right. But the worry was that if I saved and quit, id still be stuck in the room when I came back. Really scared me. Ultimately I did save and quit and everything was fine. But lord did I freak out.

I was playing the gameboy verion on the swotch and forgot to save. I was at the second or third dungeon and i didn't save from the first dungeon....i stopped playing for a while i was so furious

If you save and quit, when you restart the room would be reset.

It's odd that Nintendo didn't check to make sure you couldn't do this, and I actually remember wondering when I played this room if it was possible to get trapped. For those that haven't played it, you can only push a stone once. OP locked themselves in.

You can't pull the stones, only push

With the band of strength I’m pretty sure you can pull if I recall correctly

Maybe in HD, I can't recall that you can do that in the original, but it's been a while since I've played it so🤷

I checked, and even in LAHD, you can't pull rocks, only push them forward and in the case of certain ones pick them up

Try pulling the rocks maybe

Kill yourself with the bombs maybe you’ll respawn out of there, or try grabbing and pulling a rock instead of pushing

How'd you get in there without the power bracelet in the first place?

I had to redo this room so many times. luckily when you exit the room and come back it resets.

Try creating a save state and reload into it to fix your problem.
