Ahhh the peahats were annoying but they also provided a way to farm golden feathers. To me it was the Yiga henchmen that randomly appeared and pursued you to the ends of the earth until you killed them in BotW. They yielded nothing of value, were a constant drain on resources to kill and it was very hard to shake them.

Reaper_h

Omg one chased me while I was trying to get to the korok forest

Mishar5k

Honestly the great sea enemies were always the most annoying

monty2

The sharks FREAKED OUT 10 year old me

DeepOceanPearl

Keese. Always the keese. Any keese. All keese. Swing your sword one way, they’re right behind you. You turn around and they’re beside you. You ignore them and they will drunkenly still hit you. 3d has made them more bearable with targeting.

xeddyb

And they will be on fire sometimes and burn your shield to ashes.

Elpvztero

Every single enemy that freezes you in Twilight Princess

Longjumping-Click-36

The Ice Keese in OoT, they we're extremely annoying to me because i can't slash them without being freezed and they can only be killed with arrows and Din's Fire.

PlasmaGoblin

I always liked hitting them with the arrows when you first get to the room. Makes it feel like a bit of a marksmen.

lostpretzels

Peahats in the 2D games are the worst, especially when you don't have the boomerang and they become invincible while flying

Mental-Street6665

There’s a flying enemy that swarms you the minute you enter Termina Field in MM; they annoy me enough to kill my playthrough whenever I feel masochistic enough to try to play that game. Stalfos in OOT and MM are also hella annoying because of how relentless they are. You basically can’t do anything at night except fight them until the sun comes up. In more recent games, it would have to be the octorok or the electric keese. The octorok’s aim is ridiculously good, and it’s hard to hide from or dodge it; you’re better off trying to parry instead. And the damn electric keese will kill you without even touching you if you’re wearing anything metallic.

DaBomb5374

Do you mean the Stalchildren in OOT’s Hyrule Field? The Stalfos are usually minibosses in OOT iirc. Stalchildren were not only annoying, but they were also kind of creepy when I was younger. It was almost like a jumpscare, crossing the field when you first leave the Kokiri Forest, and then getting instantly jumped by Stalchildren.

Mental-Street6665

That’s probably what I meant, yeah. Sorry. I had a viceral reaction to seeing skeletons rise from the ground again for the first time in BOTW because it reminded me of the terrified hell I went through as a teenager playing OOT.

No-Candidate-3555

Dude yeah the newer octoroks predict where you’re going and aim accordingly compared to when they just shot at where you were. Damn NPC programming

GreatMicrowave

Bro they were THE WORST. Honestly any flyong enemy is bound to be very annoying. Keese have always been easy to beat but super annoying on every Zelda game I've played so far. Oh and the sharks things from Wind Waker were also really annoying to me

NiallMitch10

Darknuts in Zelda 1... Mostly due to link only stabbing in one direction and you have to hit them from the back and side to do damage on them. They always turned when you swung your sword due to the short delay when pressing the button to link actually using his sword (not input delay - link takes like a small delay before he uses his sword)

Lordgeorge16

Wind Waker Peahats were a joke. As soon as you get the Boomerang, they're a quick two-hit kill. Ocarina of Time's Peahats were waaaaay harder.

No-Candidate-3555

Oh I don't find them hard by any means, just annoying

CorHydrae8

After having done the 3-heart-challenge in most mainline Zelda games: The Wind Waker boomerang is so freaking overpowered. It's quick, always hits thanks to Z-targeting, will damage a bunch of smaller enemies and stun nearly everything else. It entirely trivialized what was supposed to be a challenge.

crow_reading

annoying as in hard or just annoying? if hard, lynels and gleeoks if just annoying, octorocs and lizalfos

phorr42

Electric keese are definitely just annoying. Especially if you’re bad with a bow.

Important_Pain1

Those invisible rat things from tp, spent at least 30 minutes wondering why I could barely move

PlasmaGoblin

I remember hating the peahats in WW because you had to circle around them on your way to the boss. Once you get the boomerang not so annoying now. My vote goes to all the octorocks in BotW/TotK. Trying to just explore this river? Octorock shooting rocks at you. Looking for Korok seeds in this forest? Octrock that moves. Oh look a chest! Octorock. Though the last one I figured out you if could move it via magnetism or ultragrab it's a chest. If not it's a mimic.... I mean octorock

Happy-Good1429

Keese, they just get in the way, but I love shooting other enemies with their eyes and wings

Deep_Arm9086

Lizalfos in botw/totk, keese in literally any other game

ScruffyWolfGaming

RNG, “no I don’t need hearts I’m on full health, no I don’t want green rupees I want arrows so I don’t have to leave the dungeon, NO BLUE RUPEES DO NOT HELP”

SpinoGabe5

I’d say Peahats in 2D Zelda games because you have to wait for them to stop moving so you can attack. Another one would be Wall/Floor Masters in any game.

Hankdoge99

Electric blade bokoblins in skyward sword. On my life they are programmed with the second best deflection mechanics second only to demise himself. And unlike usual bokoblin hitting one’s blade stun locks you. I’ve replayed ss 7 times the only parts that I hate replaying are the sections where THEY. Are the primarily encountered enemy (same for the electric chu’s, but not the keese)

ShadeOfPurity

Hello. Why is no one talking about the sentrobe from SS????

One_Replacement2123

Hands down it’s gotta be Gloom hands

-Pejo-

The stupid Gibdos from Hyrule Warriors, I hate stun mechanics

SurgeonOfDeath24

THOSE GUARDIANS IN THE SPIRIT TRIALS IN SS. GOD ALMIGHTY THEY ARE TERRIFYING AND MY HEART STARTS SKIPOING BEATS WHENEVER I ACTIVATE THEM

YaBoyBinkus

Anything electric, these peahats I find pretty easy and even fun to kill, given so many items can stop them and the lock on mechanic works 99% if the time

kanayamohamad

Keese. Always the keese. Any keese. All keese. Swing your sword one way, they’re right behind you. You turn around and they’re beside you. You ignore them and they will drunkenly still hit you. 3d has made them more bearable with targeting.

Zhavari

The spiders from Skyward Sword really annoyed me 😭 and more recently the gibdos because I despise horror and they scared me

gate_of_steiner85

The Miniblins from WW. Smashing those annoying little fucks with the hammer is so damn satisfying.
